Reminder that the inagural race will be this Tuesday, Feb. 22nd. I will be practicing tonight, if anybody wants to join I'll put up the room number.
 
I'll probably be up for some practice a little later.

EDIT: Never mind, Mediacom is being stupid. My ping is now 941ms...

I think with the new update we could make the racing really close... I know that the Audi got 2 Stage weight reduciton and the Lambo got windows and hood to try and get the weight of the two as close as possible, but now we have ballast that we can implement. Now we can get the cars exactly the same weight (like a nice round 1400kg) to really bring out the competition of skill!
 
I don't really want to change anything so close to the first race, but it's definitely something I'll look in to.

Also on a side note, I'm also on Mediacom and have intermittent issues with their service. So far I've been able to host no problem BUT if anyone experiences lag during the race please let me know and I'll make arrangements for a new series host.
 
By the way, the only special rules for Monza will be inside rumble strips and the pits. You are only allowed to put two wheels on the inside curbs. Anyone caught consistently putting more than two wheels on the inside curbs will be penalized. Outside curbs are fair game.

For the pits, you may enter pit lane full throttle. The white line must be obeyed on pit exit. I will be going over this again in the drivers meeting pre-qualifying.
 
Guy, I'm not gonna be able to make the race.
I'm over 800 miles from my PS3 right now. :(
 
Yes, race is still on. Qualifying will start at 9pm EST. Room will be up around 830pm EST. I will post the room number.
 
I would like to give this a spin, but I have another league starting next week on Tuesdays with the time likely 8pm although not yet finalized. So I may, or may not be able to make more than just this weeks race. If you can sign me up as an alternate for tonight and I'll let you know about next week as soon as the time is finalized. My PSN is to the left (blame it on my kid). I'll take a Lambo spot as that's all I have. Not sure if it's in the thread or not, but which Monza circuit are you using, chicanes or no?

Also, I would assume that now that we can dial down the hp, and add ballast, that any mods are ok. I've already modded the thing to the max and can't unmod the weight or engine upgrades but of course can dial down the hp.

Scratch me. I can only get to 1369kg even with ballast...sorry.
 
Anyone in a Lamborghini still need a teammate? I'm flying solo right now.
 
Congrats to GTP_potatochip and Sephy71 for a podium finish with me tonight. Thanks to everyone who showed up for the 1st race. Hopefully we can get a following and fill up the grid to improve the racing in the future. The standing have been updated in the OP.
 
That race was pretty fun! I was expecting more people in the race but it was still a good time IMO. Great racing everyone!
 
Round 2 is tonight. Room will be up at 830 pm est. Qualifying starts at 9. I will be updating the OP with special rules for Nurburg.
 
See, I was very excited for this.
But now, my parents found out that I was up to midnight last night playing online.
For this reason, they took my PS3 away until further notice.
So this means that I'm not going to be able to make this race again! :(
Sucks really. I spent so much time tuning my Audi to perfection, and now I can't even use it god dammit. Sorry guys.
 
I have to work on a heat transfer lab tonight, but I'll try to make it for the race. I haven't done any testing, so this should be interesting.

Wow, I'm just doing that to a lesser degree in grade 8 science class.
 
Race tonight will be in my lounge, If only a few people show up I may postpone Rd 2 until next week.
 
Not enough people showed up last night, so Rd. 2 has been delayed until next week. Let's aim for a full field.
 
Rd. 2 is scheduled for tonight at it's normal time. The race will take place in my lounge so make sure you're either on my friends list or someone else who is racing.

Do you mind if we use the driving line? I know it makes me a noob. But the truth is, I suck without it. I get lost, I'll forget to brake, etc. etc.
