What's the exact red blue and green count in the specific area where your avatar can go? Aka I want my avatar's black background to be the same color as the background color of where our avatars are located.

Thanks! :)

The hexadecimal code for the lighter area (where your avatar is located) is #F0F0E9.

I would like to point out that I did something like that once but the colour of the area around your avatar is different between 'GTP default' and 'GTP lite'. So if you have it set up nice in default, people using lite will see the difference.

I got F2F2F2 from PS... Lite mode is E3E0D6

To add to this without making another thread. What is the color that our posts show up on??

Post area is E3E0D6 (Default Mode) and F0F0E9 (Lite Mode) escentially opposite of default mode. :dopey:

I remember doing "invisible writing" some time ago... Let me hunt...

Edit: Apparently I did, but someone has changed the forum background since then...

How do I set it as transparent?

Set what to transparent? If you're making reference to portions of your avatar, it needs to be saved as a 'transparent gif image' with transparent properties. This is usually done with a transparent canvas. I'm sure there are tutorials on transparencies in the Digital Art Help forum.

Let me know if you need any help.

Red: 223
Green: 223
Blue: 208
O: 255 (whatever O means)

'O' stands for opacity, and 255 is 100% opacity (therefore 0% transparency).
You need PhotoShop or PaintShopPro or some equivalent software to save transparent .gif pictures.

And you should see only one line here unless you highlight the text.

Just thought I would post the new colour codes:

#E3E0D7 - area where the avatars go
#F1F2EC - post background

(both default and lite)

As RGB that is:

R: 227
G: 224
B: 215

for avatars and

R: 241
G: 242
B: 236

for the post background.
