Avatar Help

I have 101 posts & want an avatar. The avatar menu appears at the bottom of the screen, but when I click to upload, it says that the image has to be a GIF, JPG, or PNG, but it already is a jpg. Could someone help please?

Does the file actually have a .jpg/.jpeg extension? Also, is it <20KB and 100x100 pixels?

It is a jpg. I just checked & it's over 20 kb, but it doesn't say that its too big. Instead it just says that it needs to be a jpg.

Open it in a program and type a new file name .jpg and save. Sometime picture files will save as a certain file type and they just end up being a file, and aren't a picture at all for some reason. It is like the picture coding is gone.

You should also wait a bit. Upgrades get made at like 1:00 Time here in America. Maybe your account hasn't been upgraded to the correct status yet.
