Is there a thread for this somewhere? The steps necessary to back up GT5 Game save data to a usb Hard Drive or Thumb drive?

Couldn't seem to locate anything other than subscribing to PS network.

Idea's, Suggestions? Thanks

If you're a PS+ user, then you can go into the game save folder, press triangle on GT5, go to copy, and then select the location you wish to copy your game save too.

And that's preety much how it is to back up to any external device too. In the game save folder, press triangle on GT5, copy, and then select the equipment you want to copy your game save to.

Thanks, After reading some recent post about PS crashing, it's time to do a back up. I've got 3 profiles & this is the only game I play. One of the profiles is just a few special events & photo's from Platinum.

Same for me.
Though PD has already added a feature to create a back up file of the previous session save when the game starts up, I don't really trust that because that back up can easily get corrupted as well since it's all in the same system.
So, yea, every player should do a back up of their saves if they don't want to lose their progress due to misfortune.
It would be to think that it was needless to say, but every now and then theres always a thread popping up of someone saying they lost their game data
