Ban excessive sized signatures!

Once again, if you don't want to see long signatures, just turn that function off in your preferances. It saves everyone a big headache.

I tryed lising them in the Location but it didn't work and it crammed all of the cars into each other and looked really bad. Jordan, can you make more spaces under where it says Location. Like a space where you could list your cars, then people would know what you got and stuff. I've seen it at other VBullitin forums and it's cool...

Yes Jordan I have noticed the enlarged sigs recently but people just are in love with them. Nothing is wrong with that. (I am not saying you said there was something wrong with that.) I really just do not see the big deal. In my opinion there is a SIMPLE solution:

and go to the line that says, "Show user's signatures in their posts?" and click on the radial button that says No, scroll down to the bottom and click on "Submit Modifications".

Aligning smilies like Absolute Middle, Middle, Top, Bottom etc of the text line.......that might fix the problem.

For a moment I had had signatures turned off...but I miss peoples funny quotes that they have contained in their sigs.

I think smilies should be taken out of peoples sigs.

I never really thought how many people were realising the 'huge' sigs now.

I'm at school right now, but when I get home I'll try to make some of the big smilies look civilized!

Yea..i noticed that to, some are god damn huge, I thought the biggest size would be almost 45x45..but...

Well.... I guess if it looks good, then people won't complain about it, if it doesn't look good, then people will be thinking, "Gosh, what a slob. I can't believe that member did that to their signature, to to think the member wants THAT seen each time the member posts..., If I were that member, I'd clean it up a bit, and make it look better..."

So until Jordan forces a change, ummm... Everyone can just use some good judgement, right?

A five graphic limit also sounds good..

I've had sigs off for a while now; I shut them off on every forum I visit. But when the computer you're at doesn't prevoiusly have a cookie...it sort of comes as a shock.

I don't think a rule is necessary; this place seems to do a good job of "police-ing" itself. If newbies and uncreative types want long sigs, so be it.
