Funny thread, but I seriously doubt that Sony will ban anyone for duplicating their cars. I think that duplicating is a work around the tedium that is grinding in this game, which is much worse than any GT game I have played previously. Not sure why anyone has a problem with it to begin with, how can you cheapen "rare" cars? That's a load of tosh, since we all know that the UCD is on a fixed rotation, how rare are those cars considering that the rotation has a definite beginning and end? Much ado about nothing I guess, or perhaps just saying things because you assume there is some kind of value/merit to cars being rare. No cars are really rare in GT5, for that to be true then the cycle would be randomized and true rare cars would almost never show up and you would be talking about it online with others have you found this car yet, with a lot of replies "no". Toss the "rarity" reason out the window, makes no sense considering how the game is built.
Honestly those who are against it, can you actually give a valid reason how duplicating cars, paint jobs, horns or anything else you can gift affecting you in an online race? To be fair and non argumentative, a completely valid reason would make sense and I'm pretty sure that everyone would look at that objectively.
Oh and it's not Sony banning anyone, it's actually Treyarch doing the banning.
