How much HP should Bankfin cars be running?

yeah, I never tried it there with less then 35 points front downforce,
so I would assume that it wouldn't be so quick with the 20 points maximum aero,

because I like it, and we are breaking away from the norm of all the other touring car series that use the same cars as all the others,
and after last night you can't say it doesn't fit, nor can you say that about it fitting in a Tsukuba too, sure I led race 2 for a few laps but I got hunted down by the subaru's very fast,

which matched perfect last night, .045 finish with driver, and I clung on to within a second for race 2, its a shame you had those connection issues, you missed a good one,

Why not at least we all in same category cars. I see there is also a opel Astra Super touring aswell as Calibra and Vauxhall, that is already 4 cars that would be very evenly matched.



Just an idea.

To be honest I don't care what cars we in, as long as we are competitive with one another i am happy, that is why I said previously we could even be in the same car.

FORD XR8

all cars will be based from a CLK LM race car at 1050KG at 440BHP

the only reason I didn't do these cars with bankfin S2 was I ran them past Niz and he didn't like it because its on the verge of becoming a GT championship,

We need input guys, I personally would drop the power to 350bhp just to keep things tight.

What other touring car series are there other than TOCA Legends, if anything were moving closer to a GT series which are much more common series, also I like the Ford GT does that mean I could use that?
I think we should use the Subaru Super Touring as well as the FTO Super Touring, are there any more super touring models?

Actually yea this is a goodish idea, Scooby, RX7-8, FTO ect i'm just annoyed that I put alot of effort into the current batch of cars and they make good racing, these cars are also hard to acquire I've got none of them

If people need certain cars then we can send.
I have 1500 plus cars, so basically all that you can buy in used car dealerships, i only miss the ones in the new car dealerships, like 20million lira asking price ones. I will swap lol.

I would agree but the higher aero at low speeds mke it harder to overtake, its the old .700 rule from 04-06 in F1, get inside that time region and you have no grip on the nose, unless your in a AWD in which it can be .300, the higher HP gives you the chance to draft up easier,

Nothing is set in cast as yet, we are purely discussing it an getting some feedback, that is why we all need to give our own feedback and then we all could decide together.

we won't on this series, the idea is to keep to the 20 points aero nose, yes I know what your going to say, but I dont run more then 25 points on the front and I'm 200KGs more, and the ford doesn't have the top end acceleration as shown in race 1 across the line, .045!!!! I'm going to bang that drum all week long :lol:

Fuji was a slip steam war though, nothing in the race's means that much in terms of true performance measuring

My car ideas from the ideas page:
BMW 320i
Mazda 6 Touring car
Silvia S15 RM
Integra Touring car
Lexus IS200 GT1
Impreza TC
HKS Exo IX
CR-Z TC
2 Drivers per car, 2x8 = 16
All cars have equal downforce

I think keep the hp to 350 - 400 . Nothing over that , 350 sounds about right

yes but if you watch the replay you'll see that I wasn't really able to draft driver down the front stretch, nor was he, it was a pure 1KM drag race, it was the fact that the silvia is sleek, yeah I got a run on him but he did pull away,
 
just have voting poles on all disagreement or decisions. Think that allways work well.
Example should the falcon be in the feild, what hp do ppl prefer ext...
 
I think the falcon shouldn't be in the field, a v8 supercar is out of place next to a lot of the others.
 
I honestly don't understand what's the big deal about the XR8 guys ... It hasn't dominated they way the Scooby STC has ...

its cool, it won't be in for season 2, and bronz said its not getting any points from any race, but seeing its not killing everything outright like the scoob STC he's happy to let it mix it up at spa, now MCM has some interest, and with the restructure of it becoming V8 supercars, it should fit better,
 
The way it caught up to me on the straight was unreal and it even flew past me around the bend's making easily better around all parts of Fuji
