Yes it does. But to be honest, it's best that it doesn't get updated because when it does get updated, that means one less person gets to enjoy the wonderful world of .

And on the subject of emoticons missing, I don't think that is very important. The whole purpose of the Banned User Log is to note down who has been banned for how long, and for what reason. Not to look pretty or anything.

I don't even think that it's because a lot of people go without reason. I think if they listed every time someone got banned from . there would probably be more text in that one Log then there is in my 1,000+ posts.

Apparently, that was a typo; the user in question is "OnlyOneCanoli".

Everyone that is banned has a reason for being banned. What you mean is that there are a lot of people that go without explanation.

Banned users who have a low post count(are no-bodies or GTP babies) do not get added.
This may not apply to a dupe account my by a banned user just to troll and annoy because they lack the brains to get the message of "YOU'RE BANNED".

Others are spambots, no use in adding "banned another spambot" to the banned user log.

Time is a factor too. Some people have been banned with no explanation given to anyone other than the mods and the user him/herself. (for example, noisiaturismo).

So no one except the Mods know why that poor guy was banned? I'm guessing it had something to do with grammar.

Yup, nobody knows. Having seen some of his posts, I can't say I'm surprised. It wasn't grammar. He seemed very confrontational. And I seem to recall him complaining about what he was given in the secret santa thread, despite not following up on his end of the bargain.

I do remember him being quite confrontational like you have said - he was always right and if anyone disagreed with him then they were stupid (so he thought anyway). I don't really think he was all that bad though, I mean I can think of a few people who are worse IMO.

The point of the Banned User Log was so we didn't have wasteful threads and post after post regarding "why was so-and-so banned", followed by useless petitions to get the mods to change their minds.

Bear in mind it may sometimes be the same person on a different named account so they may not be put up or may not be banned for some reason.

My question pertaining to banned users is this.

Once banned, is it always permanent?

I met a guy online that runs some very respectable, competitive and fun shuffle races. Since the rooms were always set up using GTP OLR rules I always assumed he was a member of GTP. It turns out he had been but was banned.

I figured I'd at least ask if it was possible for him to be a member of this community again.
