Wasn't sure if anyone would be interested, but the Bathurst 12 hours is this weekend and you can view the entire race from a live stream on their website.

Edit: If you are having issues with the above link, try this:

PLEASE NOTE: Due to a massive inlfux of traffic some people may be having trouble accessing the Bathurst 12 Hour website. You may watch the live video stream on the link below if you are affected.

Might take a look at it if i have the time. I have never seen a Bathrust Endurance race before and i've heard the track is fantastic. I really dont know much about the track, i only know that it is the premier V8 supercars event and has a 24 hour race aswell.

No more 24hr race. Holden cheating (imo) put paid to that.

Thank you for the info mate!

Also, the first hour gives points that count towards the Australian GT Championship.

Anyway, I'll be watching keenly via Speedcafe. :D

Thanks the the reminder!

Anyone know what time the race starts?

Wish I could. it's always a good race.

8 or 9 am local time I'm pretty sure. I'm there, and there seems to be plenty of cars here. Are the numbers up this year does anyone know?
Saw Lowndesy walking around the pits too

Sweet there's a livestream! I love the internet sometimes.

Just had a look in the program, starts at 7. Just did my first laps of the track in practice this morning, and yes it is as awesome as it looks 👍

Wait? You're racing in it?

Not the 12 hour, in one of the support races. Pretty cool seeing the setups of the European teams, they seem pretty serious when the whole team is speaking another language
Might catch the start of the race on Sunday, because we have a 9 hour drive home. Both my races are on Saturday, so we don't really need to be there on Sunday

What support series? I didn't know you raced :p

Yeh HQ Holdens. One of the slowest classes, but easily the most affordable. Produces the closest and best racing though IMO.
Can't wait for this track to come to iRacing!

Jeez, I haven't the HQ's in ages.
Did you have quali today?

Hopefully I can remember. I'm not accustomed to watching races online so it isn't normally on my mind.

Just clicked on the link in the OP and the page said the account had been suspended... wut?

Awesome! thanks for finding that! and is this qualifying at the mo or the race?

Race starts on Sunday for them, so Saturday for us?

Edit: This is the HQ race which magic_town is racing in I believe, hopefully he wasn't in the accident. :nervous:
