I didn't see the crash happen, just loaded up the link when you asked about the qualifying. They're still clearing it out.
 
First lap crash too, not good! I'm sure we'll find out more when Magic_Town is next online.

We should have asked him what number his car was too -.-
 
Hmm, so the broadcast guys had to evacuate their building due to a fire alarm and they canceled the race that had just started. I don't see a fire (except the car that was on fire on the track :p) so not sure what's going on...
 
Well that was a debacle. So they streamed the HQ race as well? That's awesome. Managed to miss every crash. Right behind the big one one the first lap, behind the bloke who put it in the sand trap on turn one, and right behind the roll over. Got some good footage on my new gopro though :)
Next race is in around 3 hours. Don't know if they will declare it a race yet, or what lap it will be called on. If its the last timing point before the red flag then I got 2nd :lol:

I just hope that this event can get some more support / fan-base in Australia and perhaps there might be some live TV coverage. There are some pretty serious looking teams putting a lot into the event.

If the hosting website got swamped and crashed, I guess that's a good thing . . . from our angle.

Red #14. Got 8th in the second one. Much better race in the second one, it was awesome.
Did my fastest lap of the weekend late in the second race, all I need is some more track time. Best experience ever though :) :) :)

Yeh I didn't think to say what car I was driving, didn't think I would be near the pointy end :lol:
Gonna catch some of the race tomorow, should be good
 
I dont think anyone realised the support races would be shown on the stream so on one thought to ask. And how long until the race starts? Im too tired to work out differences between time zones.

7 am local time so that should be 10 hours I think
 
The stream is beginning really badly and some people saying they had the same issue whole yesterday doesn't sound promising.
 
Stream not working here... "Lost Signal" screen is all I get on the second link and the first one won't even load!

Same here, you can watch a few minutes of the start of the race but eventually it cuts off and then doesn't show any more. 👎 I'll just listen to RLM instead.

How come a race like this isn't shown on TV at all?

I'm sorry to motorsport for getting that wrong :(

The stream is showing highlights every hour, I don't know whether they'll show them for the whole race or just the hour before.
 
That looked like fun, imagine what was going through the Porsche driver's head.. :p

Almost 2.5 hours. I'm sitting at the chase now, amazed how late these guys brake compared to V8SC. And that Erebus SLS sound :drool:

Cool, i havent missed an insane amount then! Time to sit back and watch some racing I think!
 
So since about 3 PM Eastern? Not sure of the conversion..
