CCYoshi's Slightly Late Momentum-O-Meter: Monaco

Looking Up:

Japan Fans: With Honda's Horton winning the race and Machiels of Toyota finishing second, they had plenty to cheer about. And so did Horton and Machiels.

Chang: With the championship leader out of lap 1, he drove an flawless race (note I said nothing about the rest of the team) and captured a podium. He now leads by 5 points. I think that's the biggest lead this season

Monaco's Economy: There are quite a few drivers living there - if not many more by next season...(yay home race lap bonus)

---

On the Edge:

Domingues: Got taken out by Kawasie of all people, and now is a little back in the championship. Still within striking distance though, the tables turn very quickly...

Beyens: Speaking of, tables were turned on him this race as he was involved in a first-lap incident and scored a rpund zero for the day.

Kawasie: Didn't seem as fast and as much of a pass-maker (man I need a better word for that) as before, although that may just be because of the track. Also needs to watch out for Renault hitmen now.

Allman: Hey, finished better than his teammate Beyens for once

---

Falling Down:

The Same People: ...that I mention every time, the ones with no points, the ones who are AWOL, etc...

People's Feelings: Sure were quite a few DNFs as results of collisions. Don't you hate it when some guy ***** into you and walks off? *whistles*

Minds at Toyota: They were blown considerably when they found out Machiels held the lap record for 1/2 the race and improved the record quite many times. (although this is probably a good thing)

And yet again...

Ha, now that I have my new computer setup and running, my Ferrari shall be pwnz0r!

Problem solved

Toyota now knows what the probelm developed in the race. Gascoyne, the Toyotas were fast the whole weekend untill Gascoyne was caught messing with the car before the race. Gascoyne is now fired!

Toro Rosso sandwich!

I've done it! :)

I've won my first public series championship. I'm a little disappointed that I only moved about 160 spots up the world ranking, but now I can enter one of thoses ROC series and pretend I'm better than I am.

Unfortunately, I didn't manage it in my public BTCC... :grumpy:

I got taken out in the penultimate race by a chap called Jenkins... final race, and I'm 13 points behind P1.

I really wanted the series win - it was the best chance I'd ever had of managing one.

:(

Sharky: You've still got a chance, no? 1st place in BTCC gives what...15 points? Fastest lap and pole also? Best chance is to crank everything to 11 (or 100 in this case) and hope your rival retires.

(kinda like the Schumi situation in real-life actually - wouldn't both races fall on the same day? :P)

And now for...
CCYoshi's Momentum-o-Meter: Silverstone

Looking Good:

Davidson: Wins an emotional race at home (well, it better be one anyway) and joins Horton as one of 2 people with 2 wins this year. Closing in on the Driver's lead quickly.

The Home Crowd: 5 drivers in home races - 4 of them finished in the top 4. Good stuff for the fans!

Hutchinson: Strong 4th place at home after failing to score points the last 3 races. Will McLaren start to compete again?

---

On the Edge:

Beyens: A podium finish catapulted him to a 3-point championship lead, but massive negative awesome points for a confusing press conference that combined Latin and profuse (yet happy) swearing.

Chang: A lousy midfield finish catapulted him back to a 3-point deficit in the championship after scoring no points at Silverstone. Was hampered by both mechanical issues and collisions.

Horton: Overcame driver error and collision to score a point here - preserving his DNF-less streak this season. Only he and Machiels have finished every race and scored a decent amount of points.

---

Falling Down:

Edwards: 2 retirements in 2 races. At least he retires early (so far lap 3, 1, and 2)...has Aguri fallen back to it's normal junk status in Season 6?

Midland: Stalling badly midseason. After Kawasie's stellar 3-5-3 run, he has only scored 2 points in 3 races. Reynolds has equally good intentions but hasn't been too competitive.

Red Bull: Both it's main team and Toro Rosso constantly are at the end of the field. Sugar crash? Where are their wings now?

Sharky: You've still got a chance, no? 1st place in BTCC gives what...15 points? Fastest lap and pole also? Best chance is to crank everything to 11 (or 100 in this case) and hope your rival retires.

S'pose.

I'm 12 points behind, so:
I need to win, and get at least 1 bonus point, if Jerkovic retires, or:
I win, have pole, fastest lap, lead most laps, and Jerkovic finishes 6th or lower.

Who wants to place bets? :scared:

And now for...
CCYoshi's Momentum-o-Meter: Silverstone

I suppose it’s better to not be on that list, than to be on one of the final two categories. This season really has been bad for me. To show how bad this season is:

Heh, Blake, too bad for you. I'm having a breakout season in GTP F1!

:yuck:

Seriously though, if it ended right now this would be my best championship finish since a public BTCC in August. Haven't quite figured this game out I guess XD

Jumping on the bandwagon (how's this for a lot of P7's?):

For the record, the public 06 F1 is with Aguri.

CCYoshi's Momentum-O-Meter: Montreal

Looking Up:

Beyens: 2 podiums in a row combined with 2nd-place Chang failing to score 2 races in a row equals big championship lead...

Williams: Dubois pulled a strong podium finish in his home race, and also managed to steer Shepherd to a points haul. They've been picking up steam in the recent races, keep an eye on them...

Blue Skies: Rain threatened as the track turned greasy for a bit, but luckily it went away. Rain is evil!

---

On the Edge:

Machiels: Toyota may be stronger than last year, but...4 laps down? Seriously?

Chang: Has been less than stellar in the last 2 races (incidentally the only 2 races where he finished without scoring points), allowing Beyens to build up a lead. A little bit of good luck could bring him back into it.

Haswell: Because he wasn't mentioned in my report last time. :P

---

Falling Down:

Narayan: Remember when he won the first race, shocking everyone? He hasn't scored since race 2.

Super Aguri: See above. Plus, Edwards discovers that when he's not busy wrecking or being taken out, his car sucks!

Midland: Have shown greatly improved pace on the track, and greatly improved pace off the track running away from reporters who wonder just why they've racked up another double DNF...

The car sucking was well known in advance, it's the number of DNF's that have ruined my season. I've driven the SA's to 6th overall in two previous seasons just by constantly chipping away with 4th and 5th race placings. As for Narayan; he hasn't turned a lap since race 1. Apparently he's been missing from all his games (per forum discusssion).

I lost my BTCC... :(

Final race, 12 points back - and my brakes, well, break, and my engine throws a hissy fit. Jerkovic finishes second, I grab third. Finish 14 points behind.

Oh well, at least I know I can run at the pointy end of the field(s).

So who’s driving in the BATracer A1 Cup? I saw a few GTPers on the list. Two of whome I told to do it… I also saw Yuuji, Danny, and Bruno. Can’t remember anyone else.
