I just happened to sign up for a private A1 the day before this was announced. Bah. But there are a few top 300 drivers, then me at 895, then a couple drivers in the 990's. So there should be so good competition.

I'm also set up for a potentially epic comeback in BTCC Touring. I've been hovering around thrid and fourth all season in an Astra, and the other Astra team has been 1-2 all season. I've just earned pole for the sprint race at Brands Hatch Indy (next to last circuit in the series), with about eight-tenths between my teammate and I and third fastest, pulling myself within ten points of second place and twenty-six points within first. Although they have been running consistently high, they have faltered on occasion, and if I manage to stay on podium in the final four races, I could come away with a very close win for my second championship.




But don't hold your breath. :dunce:



P.S. - Thanks, I've become, well, more than a little disenchanted with team and teammate. I'll take number 7.

I'm #1!

This is looking to be one of the closest championships we've had. Only 16 points between 1st and 6th. 3 points between 2nd and 6th!!!

3 points between Renault and Honda in the constructors title too.
