I'm pretty sure that I failed my contract miseralbly this year.... :D

Let's put it this way, you've probably been shown the door a while back now.

My lovely
He's holding me back, don't think i'll team with him next time! haha.

Heh you can do your own set ups from now on. :p

Yeah, I'm a rotten racer sometimes.... But I like Toyota, whoever gets the job next season will be pleased, as It is a great organization, and I have a good (but sometimes AWOL) teammate. I've had fun this season, which is more than I can say of of last season.

EDIT: Tree'd.

Mmm, contracts. If Bee had really been strict about those he would have told me to go AWOL and let someone replace me midseason a la Yuji Ide  Don't think Midland's going to sign Mr. P22 again.

And as for my game wrapups:
MIDLAND MIDSEASON POWA F1-06, P14 @ Monaco, scored one point since joining 2 races ago. In other news Monaco is a bad place to discover your previous guy didn't pick Thinker >.>

Murdering Japan's reputation again in the A1 Cup Trifinals, P23 with 1 point going into venue 4. Haven't been very lucky as of late, mostly been retiring from midfield. Luckily survived the last feature race to grab the final point (a little guiltily, after knocking off one opponent) from P29.

Continuing the string of 'Lousy driver in lousy cars that start with M,' I've scored 2 points in a Minardi F1-02 which is 3/4 done. Me and my teammate combine for 8 - 2nd-to-last in constructors :/

Finally, we move on to a public F1 2006 which does not suck! I seem to be pretty good at Honda too, but then again that and Midland is all I pick XD Teammate and I are P3 and P4 with almost identical points. Fight for 2nd seems to be good but one Renault is absolutely owning the season. Could be a constructors' in the making though if we are lucky.

And then we have GTP F1. You know how that is going ;)

I have a MS slot opening up in 17 hours, does anybody need a replacement teammate/want to find a dual-AWOL team (any carset except V8s)?

Doesn't the Midseason page list the amount of midseason drives (answer: none) and the ones that are set to go AWOL shortly now? There should be a page in the forums for AWOLs in private games too. :)

Unfortunately there aren't enough AWOLs anymore, maybe that's why Jules dropped the midseason from 3 to 1. XD

There's a Haas Lola 86 AWOL advertised in the BAT forum Private Games that I'm thinking of taking, but if a better drive comes up, I'll take it.

Yoshi: Hey.. new avatar...

Well, no hurry on the midseason stuff. I'd like a feature to check if anyone's about to go AWOL in my publics, but I think we're getting to the point in BATRacer where a bunch of people with Midseason slots are simply pouncing on these things. I worry that someday I'll replace a talkative teammate who happened to take a 3 day, 12 hour, and 2 minute vacation :dunce:

Very perceptive on the avatar by the way :D I tend to change it to whatever anime/video game series I'm addicted to at the time. But that's another story >.>

Holy crap, I forgot to change to a wet setup for the race. As the track dried out I ended up being spot on and won the race!

Woodwiss on the prowl?

Scott Woodwiss today announced he is looking to make a comeback into the F1 racing scene. Before the start of this season he was rumoured to drive for Honda next season but he has since stated he wants to have Toyota power behind him.

"i would like to comeback to GTP F1 with either toyota or midland depending on what happens" He said:

"personally, i would like to make my comeback with toyota"

He then went on to say:

"i'd be happy with midland as well"

So watch out for this man because he wants a seat!

"i'd be happy with midland as well"

You foolish, foolish man...go on, take it. TAKE IT! *chucks car much in the same manner I "approach" corners: screaming fast backwards into a double barrel roll half-twist inversion*

:dopey:

Eh, I guess every season has it's highs and lows but I like to whine. >.> We'll see how the home race reception goes...

Kawasie Looks to Score Big at Suzuka
"Certainly I'll be able to make a couple hundred dollars recycling all those cans that are going to be tossed in my head in Japan. With some luck I may be able to interfere with the leaders by strategically taunting fans into obstructing vision in high-traffic areas such as 130R by burning effigies of me and clouding the track with smoke. And if all else fails I could go get hit by a Safety Car or something and make millions off the comedy photographs/talk show appearances/insurance collection/lawsuits.

Fear the fanbase."

Who is James Juice?
I think its Sharky.
Indeed it is.

That explains it
Hey, don't go and make me call myself "Anton Wonton" next season ;) :p

Do it! ^ Take the Midland! I never want to see it again! :scared:

(oh, and I was glad that I DNFed China [in a funny way])

BMWs looking to take home Constructors.

Judging by the standings, looks like BMW will take home their first Construtor's championship.
"I'm happy that we have a good chance of taking the championship, this will be a first for me, and a first for my debut team. This really is a good season for BMW Sauber, with me and David scored a combined 133 points, with 6 wins, 13 podiums, and 5 pole position. Now we just hope that one of us can take home the driver's champ, and this season will be complete."
We are currently at Suzuka, and with 11 hr 45 min till qualifying. Surprisingly, Charkaoui of Super Aguri leads the pratice with the time of 1:32.192, Nikolakopoulos of Red Bull in second with the time of 1:32.427, and Chang of BMW 0.442 behind.

Renault's back for the final 2 races....

and let me get this contract thing straight.... if we do not meet the guidelines, we get the boot?
how do we then seek to get a new drive?

Correct, I'll post up all the vacancies once the season has finished. Then quite simply pick a drive. :)

If they wish! :)

Put simply, completing the objectives gives you a safety net to fall on of a certain drive!

I predict that as usual I will not be online when the sackings are announced, and thus will be demoted to Midland or Super Aguri.

Someone started an F1 2006 private game recently (i think it was Bram), and it has been sitting there since.

Should we advertise the remaining slots in the forum?
