:)

Another new championship for me.

Fifth is still a good finish in LMES, appie. I know, I've been there ;)

Having been fourth ALL season, only to drop to fifth at Le Mans after some guy that was pretty useless all season wins the race. :/

No need to rub it in, I've had 3 poles and as many podiums in my current LMP1 season, but I'm only seventh :(

It was the final lap. I started from second and was really fast and then it rained and it kinda ruined it i guess:(

BTW. Congrats on your win S:tup:

Yeah, well...

I have 1x LMP1 win and 1x GT win (unofficial, as it was a midseason game and I haven't done a full GT before) :|

My LMP2 season was winless :(

:(

It's been nearly a year since I won my BTCC title :(

In my championships I'm:
19th (V8)
15th (Indycar Rerun)
12th (A1)
19th (F102)
2nd (Instructor BMW)
3rd (GTP F1)
5th (Instructor Renault)
7th (LMES)
12th (Instructor BTCC)
26th (F186 Midseason)

I finished 9th in Shahin's Aggression vs Conservatism series.

edit: I tried my hand at template-making. This is what resulted :/

Yeah, your Spudz Courage just couldn't muster a win, even under my hands. Now, my Lazycat Courage... :sly:
:|

My Shadow (Racers) LMP1 Pescarolo is a fair bit better than the Courage - I have 3 poles, 4 podiums (inc 1 win) and 2 fast laps with it so far, while my teamie has 3 wins (5 podiums), 2 poles and 3 fast laps.

Unusually, only four LMP1 drivers have had a pole this season, after 11 races - five of which were set my myself and my teammate :D

Monza qual in two hours, setup is 100% already so we have a good chance of making it 6 from 12 :P

👍

BTW, don't you guys find it ironic? I finally get up early to load Sharky's setup, and get rewarded with a pole. But guess what? The race will be wet. It's like getting hit by the carrot and eating the stick.

 👍

I've been having a lot of wet races lately. I just had a wet Nurburgring in the 02 Minardi. I gambled on the race drying up. It didn't, and as a result I had a 74.8% setup vs most others' 98.2%.

I still finished 8th, but unfortunately in 02 only the top six score points :/

edit: And in A1GP. Sepang sprint, qual fifth, race starts dry. By lap 8 it's light rain and I pit for wets. Finish second, in treacherous rain and spray conditions. But on the final lap the leader, about 1.5 secs ahead of me, does this: "McArton (P1) makes a driver error at turn seven. McArton decides to limp home rather than pit. "

One more lap and I would've won, with McArton's car 85% damaged... :/

It was asked about before, and I figure I might as well announce it: free internets on me tonight in honor of Appie who has Premo-fied me. 👍

I guess this means I have to be more active on GTP now; coming on 2 years and I still wouldn't have had enough for a user title otherwise.

And I should start taking Wet Weather Warrior again, if only so I can win random races like this instead of placing mediocre all the time. Rain is good. That way they don't see me coming...until I hit them! :dopey:

The current GTP game hates me. How the hell do you crash when you're the one with the best setup for the conditions, the right tyres, the right strategy - AND LEADING BY 40 SECONDS?

Not only that, but my fastest lap back then still held as second-fastest throughout the race.

And not only that, but by the time the SC got out, Appie's 36-seconds lead over the next-best driver would be nill and zero compared by my uber-awesome 40-seconds lead after a mere 20 laps, which are just 25% of the race - so it's safe to predict that after another 60-70% of driving with a perfect setup and others on drier setups (it even got wetter again! :grumpy), I would have over a minute and a half on the whole field. Nevermind lapping everyone but Appie.

And of course, lest we forget - I retire on the one race where only 8 drivers finish.
