I applaud your 36-seconds lead when the SC came. It was remarkable. But so was my 40 seconds lead on lap 20. Problem is, no driver, EVER, would continue to set fastest laps like I did, when he leads the field by 40 seconds, having already lapped a few. NOBODY would risk a crash from that position.
 
I've decided to try a hat-trick of LMES victories.

BTW, don't you guys find it ironic? I finally get up early to load Sharky's setup, and get rewarded with a pole. But guess what? The race will be wet. It's like getting hit by the carrot and eating the stick

A series with rule changes every race (i.e. one might be max retirements, other might be max passing, etc etc) for a varied and wrecktastic racing season. You're still trying to win but it'll be tough to survive both the rule changes and the field! (since by default collisions are 2X, mayhem starts 3X, and no yellow flags...almost. :dopey:)

You forgot to mention you won the second race (Phoenix) by a lap, and lead the damn thing :lol:

In other news: me and Yoshi are dominating Total Mayhem II. Four races done, Yoshi won race two (by a lap), I won races three and four (my first CC victories in six seasons :eek: ). And Yoshi finished second in the first race to boot :p

P1 CCY 50pts
P2 me 47pts
P6 our teammate 27pts

Teams: us P1 124pts
P2 58pts

And that's only after four races. And we got an engine upgrade. :dopey:
 
Wow, had a smash-fest in the Indycar Rerun at Mid Ohio.

Only 10 drivers of 21 finished. :eek:
