Earlier this week, I wrapped up another LMES title, this time in LMP2. And it was my first time in that class. :O I drove a Mazda powered Pilbeam with Yokohama ADVAN tires.

Those liveries are my creations, by the way.:D

My teammate for the series was Steve Bulens of the BATracer Elite clan who is currently one of the Top 10 ranked players on all of BATracer. It was an honor to team up with him for the recently completed campaign which also resulted in a Team title for both of us.

That, Sharky, is an achievement. RIGHT THERE.

A) It's a Pilbeam. It's shoddy, it's unreliable, it's not that fast.
B) He beat Buelens, who is actually a top LMES player.

Boast about LMES all you want but don't forget I have the single most epic championship title in all of BATracer. :sly:
 
Joined a Public MR2 Series yesterday. Hasn't started yet as I type this, but I think I may learn a few things from having a one make championship.
 
My current LMP2 season is quickly going downhill. I've started off with an epic win, and qualified at the top ever since. In the races, it's pretty similar - only halfway through, usually leading or podium-running, I get random crap. One race had two pit-for-long-repairs, and two other races included retirements from the lead/nearly-lead.

Just joined a handful of publics:

F1 2008 in the Super Aguri (Teamed up with Appie)
F1 2005 in the Williams (Teamed up with Davide Fazzari Pelladoni, which just so happens to be the best name I've heard, ever)
F1 1986 in the Benneton (Again, with Appie)

Gonna be a fun few weeks.

On the whole it looks good.

However... I can see what appears to be remnants of the yellow from the template: to avoid that duplicate the template (as a layer), use the magic wand/select by colour on the yellow of the duplicate, then delete the contents of the selection.

Did you get any details as to what the carset is like? I imagine they have all the tracks the IndyCar Series ran on this year including Long Beach and Surfers Paradise. Did they have 2 cars to choose from like the Dallara and Panoz? Did you have a choice of engines as well(Honda and Ford)?
 
Andretti Green is a 4-car team.

Each driver has their own livery. You choose which RL livery to use on signup.

All cars run the Dallara chassis, Honda engine and Firestone Firehawks.

Qualifying is 4-lap aggregate.

Each driver has an additional trait: oval, balanced or street, which determines what type of track you're stronger on.

Every place gives points: 1st 50, 2nd 40, 18th 12, 25th 10 etc.

Tyres are Slick Short, Slick Standard and Slick Long.

Apparently our very own Yoshi (hi! I can see you lurking! lol) had something to do with the set. O.o

For all tracks or just the Ovals? If I recall correctly, in real life the IndyCar series has single lap qualifying for the road and street courses. Dunno how many chances a driver would have to qualify for the race on those courses.
 
I'm not sure. I presume single-lap for streets, 4-lap for ovals.

Yoshi can tell us when he hits St Pete. ;)
 
Ovals it's the 4-lap aggregate style (like Indy 500), road courses, from what I've heard is similar to F1 knockout qualifying.
 
Interesting results in my first enduro races:

MR2 World Series
Atlanta Enduro
Started: 9th
Finished: 9th

LMES
Sebring 12 Hours
Started: 11th
Finished: 4th

Ironically enough, Mid-Ohio is the next event in both series.

Both traits are picked on the same page... I wonder if you can forego a trait in one category to pick two in another...

You're not supposed to, but I wonder if it will prevent you...

It's just a good shape. There are a lot of skins made for it in 3D games like GTR2 as well.
 
RACECAR isn't the only GTPlaneteer who does BATracer Liveries you know! ;)
