I'll kick it all off 12pm GMT tomorrow, if you have no team mate I suggest you start asking friends or family. 👍

And also, it's time...

GTPlanet Season 3 Lottery!

So yep the controversal method of moving the places around a bit is back for a second season, heres what you need to know if you didn't race in S2 or if you have forgotten:

Quite simply drivers pick numbers, then I use an independant random number generator to pick 6 numbers, the drivers with these 6 numbers HAVE to move to a different team for next season. This assures that people get a chance at a front end seat to show their stuff.

Note: Drivers racing this season that were picked last year are excluded from the process, these are:

Simon Trendell
Jef Beyens
Marc Pianelli

So, this means you pick a number between 1 and 17, the draw will be made after the Monaco GP in 2 days time.

Thanks!

1. Brad Horton (Casio)
2.
3. Herman Chang (no1rc3ur)
4.
5. Yuuji Kawasie (Cardcaptor Yoshi)
6.
7. Lee Davidson (Bee)
8. Lloyd Ramos (GTRacer4)
9. Christopher Owens (Fonce Diablo)
10. Chris Taylor (brain scran)
11. Jarrett Allman (MachOne)
12. Blake Haswell (Blake)
13. Jason Richards (blue_sharky39)
14.
15. Ashley Butler (Ashley.)
16.
17. Steve Travis (FoolKiller)

CUrses! That wet race was going well for a while there until the mechanics decide to have a 20 second botch up!! I think if it wasn't for that I coulda been in with a podium chance despite the 60% setup...

glad for the points though.

Good to hear :) Check back here after the British GP for when the sign up opens. :)

will do, if my knowledges leads me correctly that will be in 4 days if im not mistaken?

S**T i just saw that the V8 series has started too too!!

did you want to make some sort of a list like in the F12006 season where by we write out name and team...

ie. Ls2_297, Luke Mason, Supercheap Auto Racing

GTP V8's - ...and they're off. I notice everybody except me tried running 4 qualifying laps. I had a shocking setup and knew I couldn't make the top of the grid so I saved my tyres a bit then fried them in warmup for a perfect setup. Now to see if my pit strategy works :nervous:

Guinea Pig V8 series - ...and The Lord said "let there be carnage" and there was carnage, and the Holy warriors of Ford Performance Racing did set forth to conquer the race. The evil beast of Holden did claimeth victims in a great battle that shook sky and soil, yet through such trials did come our saviour, driving his CAT Falcon with much skill and determination. And ye of little faith did fumble the pitstop and stalleth his great chariot, and much cursing and gnashing of teeth did echo through the plains. And on the last lap they were led out of darkness and in to glory with a 7th place finish, and the holy men did looketh upon our driver and say "it is good".

GTP F1 2006 - Why did I bother even showing up for qualifying? Yet another shocker of a warmup too. Over enthusiasm followed by a crash.

I ran 3 laps in the V8...too bad I crashed on my 2nd, and got a crap time on my 1st...

Edit: My F1 2006 GTP teammate will not co-operate with me at all. No team chat messages from him since we started the season. *sigh* Too bad for Toyota. If we worked together we might be able to do better than an average of 1 retirement and one 10+ finish per race.

somebody: Love that Guinea V8 summary.

As for my GTP V8 trials...there's nothing like running 100-experimentation test runs with "thinker" characteristic and getting ZERO feedback ><

On to Monaco in F1 '06...BMW's looking for a better finish than how the real one turned out.

I'm not sure I get Batracer.

It seems to me you just enter into a championship and it does the rest for you?

Not at all.

You have to decide on strategy and tyre choices.

The main thing you have to do is testing. You have to get your car setup correctly for each track. Each time you do a test you get feedback and you have to adjust your wings, suspension, anti-roll bars, tyre pressures, ride height, brake ballance and gear ratios.

Thanks a lot Dunc.:grumpy:

I fiddled with it and crashed and died :(

I got stuck with the 306 'cos the 156's and 320i's were taken.

Christ no one told me V8's had started so I check up and find out that I somehow win the race. lol

SWEET!
