Does it matter, Renault and BMW?

Just purely for the engine? Cause I'm sure I got the almost perfect settings honestly:( Damn you carl.

Qualifying and the Race are done automatically, just make sure that before they start you have the setup and strategy that you want for each.
 
I've just stepped in the door from work. 6th is pretty damned good - I was thinking I'd finish 10th-12th. In the end I only spent 2 or 3 laps outside the top 10. Woodwiss spent the first half of the race trying to get by the RBR cars :P

Don't know, really. It would suck if that was the case...

My set is far from perfect, only have 2 settings spot on, and 5 other that I know are close to being spot on. I guess my last run on fresh tires did help. Perhaps drivers qualities help, too.
 
I used Neocrox's settings wich were already good and experimented with them and almost have everything spot on, or like lo:89 hi:91 or something obvious like it.

Pretty disappointing if I would loose because of the engine...:guilty:
 
I had an absolute shocker in practice. Nothing is even close to perfect. I only hope I fluke qualifying because I don't see me overtaking many people this round.

Awesome I won the GTP btcc race..... just! Bee's dad had a 100% perfect setup, thank god he was held up when Charkaoui passed him at the start.

I guess if you can get 8 or more GTP members to commit, you could start a 2nd GTP BTCC championship. 8 is the minimum for private games, and if you wanted you could use production vehicles to be different from the current BTCC gtp group.
 
I'm interested.

And the race results from the public f1 group i'm in are known.
Qualified 8th and ended the race as 8th. Not so bad :)
 
I'd enter the 2nd BTCC thingy. By the way, is SEAT still in the championship? I'd love to pick my car.

The game is just amazing. So many stats and things, I can't get enough.

Actually, if you read closely, you'll see it was Ash that hit me. Not the other way around. An unfortunate incident that we should be able to prevent from happening again.

I think he missed the memo about that whole team coop thing. ;)

EDIT:
I'm pretty happy with my race at Bahrain. An early setback, but I was able to make a lot of passes and had a shot at some points. I slipped at the end b/c my crew switched me back to my worn Soft tires. I was running on crap rubber for the last few laps. If I was on good tires, I could've made a few more passes.

But damn, I'm 3rd now in practice, luckily this has only been practice, wich I am forgetting everytime I see that I'm 3rd now.
 
Williams and BMW are the only 2 teams with both cars in top 10 for practice:D

Im happy with that:P, one red bull and one toro rosso yet to run practice. Qualifying in 1 hour:D

Well Carl, looks like we got some fighting to do through the grid. 👍 Should be a fun race.
 
Damnit I didn't do well in warming up, plus the warming up is totally different so far. I hope there arent many more drivers out there that are gonna go faster in the warming up. I hope it's not gonna be impossible competition for me up in front...:(
 
I'm disappointed with my 15th. Hopefully me and appie can find a good setup in the warmup together.

On another note, i'm taking part in an F1 2002 public game. I finished 6th in the wet at Melbourne. We're at Sepang now, and i have done my practice laps. Amazingly, my car pulled a 1'35.3xx and since last night, NO ONE has beat it! I AM FASTEST IN PRACTICE!
 
Yay...6th and fastest in warmup...hope my engine stays intact.
