I'm suprised that nobody has gone for the RedBull team. I've shown that they can be fast, if a little accident prone.
 
Does anyone know how to prep for a race with different racing conditions than your warmup conditions? In the BTCC I was beaten by the only guy giving me a struggle and afterwards he had a setup of 93% while the rest of the touring class had ~15%-16% or worse.

Did he get lucky or is there a trick to it?
 
I think the pay members have tools that help a lot to find the proper settings. In the public F1 game I'm in, some people have 98-100% setups most of the time, regardless of the conditions... :crazy:

Thats because they majorly suck and need all the help they can get. lol 👍
 
Damn, I was close to success. Too bad for that accident. I still have a comfortable lead. Let's hope all goes well for the last few races.

But the guy that I am pretty much in the battle for first with isn't listed as someone using "Kool Tools." That's why I'm confused. If he was using the "Kool Tools" then I would just accept it as a downfall of mooching for free.

Does anyone from GTP use the tools?
 
I don't think so. I quit the BTCC because both of one of the fastass vauxhall team's two drivers both abused the hell out of KT. It was pretty impossible to win. I play to win, not to be showed up by people playing against me from another level of significant advantage.

Know what I'm saying? That's like trying to duel someone with a sword when they're bringing an M16 to the fight. Sure, you could still fight, but it would kind of be pointless.
 
It's very possible to get a good setup, even if the weather for warmup and race are different.
You can calculate how much you have to change your settings.
 
wow, crashed in qualify and warmup. This game has got something against my Ferrari.

I think once the current game ends a new one has to be created so the id will be new to all i guess. Just gotta wait for the current game to end. We'll keep ya informed, but welcome to the Champcar Series. If you know any other GTP members what might wanna join, give them the link.
 
Once the final race has been completed, i will setup the championship again, as i did last time, so keeep an eye out for the championship details which will be posted at roughly 1pm GMT. :)
 
Ok, so private game numbers are reduced to 2 so im gonna have to create a new account, bear with me the championship will be here soon.

Sorry for the delay guys but here it is at last, the F1 06 season 2 sign up.

Players will need to be registered and logged in before they can enter the private game. When logged in, clicking the following URL will take you to the join game page:

Alternativly, you can select "private games" from the menu and enter the number "1934" into the box. The game password is "gtplanet". Take care not to accidentally join a public game by mistake.
 
3-Wheel Drive, do not join the Williams team yet. I need to finish up my 02 season before I can join another private game. I'm over the limit.
 
There is a new limit to private games which is 2. So if your over this by a way then you may need to create a new account to join like i did.
