Did I just give up a Honda, Ferrari, McLaren and 2 Williams seats away to stay at Midland....?

I have to put down the drugs...

(I Guess I'll beat Omni's where ever I'm at anyway)

Bee-Gate?

Lee Davidson is currently in the centre of controversy between teams. His current team, Honda, have said that Davidson has been signed for next season yet his agent and father Steve Davidson has yet to confirm the deal. To add salt to the wound, Steve was found at the Ferrari motorhome at Indianapolis on Friday and has also been spotted with Aguri Suzuki who is expected to make a return with Super Aguri.

Honda are currentally looking at a strong pairing of Davidson and Marc Pianelli who is being dropped from Williams at the end of the season.

Bollocks! How did i knew I'd be picked. Lee screws me out of a win at Indy and now he screws me by taking my Ferrari seat away....

i knew this idea was crap, but then it could be argued that the lottery thing should be void, as not everyone took part, so that kinda makes it unfair.

Well, anyone at Renault willing to give up their seat? lol

I'm not being dropped by williams, I'm leaving those ****ing assholes.

It's just impossible with that team.

And, Jef, you're a giant douche. Someone ALWAYS has to ruin my race this season. Every frickin' race of mine has been ruined sans barcalona.

Cry me a freakin river. Seems your plan of pwning everyone in the Williams didn't work out sucka.

Omnis
I do pwn. Problem is, people always ruin my race.

Just admit that you and your crappy Williams are crappy.

By the way, has anyone managed to check out the practice results so far :sly:

Formula 1 World War Championship?

The Indianapolis race took place yesterday and it provided argurably more controversy and incident than any other race for the last number of years.

With both Midland's on the front row, a suprise was in order from the look of them in qualifying, however as the lights went out, it was Groper in the BMW who would lead them out of the final turn 13. For the first time in the season, everyone suvived the first lap although the biggest losers was Pianell (-11) and Bond (-11), somehow Groper made up that exact number of places from his 12th place starting grid! 2nd lap saw Toyota driver Appie Charkaoui punted off the track by Ashley Butler in his Toro Rosso, Butler managed to keep it going, Appie was the first retirement. Within 3 laps the Midlands dropped from 1st and 2nd on the grid to 3rd and 6th, they had to pray that they were heavy fueled compared to their rivals. For Soyfu though, that would be the least of his worries when he lost the Midland going into turn one, what seemed like a driver mistake destroyed the car and Nathan would take no more action in his home GP. There was also a collision with Trendell in the Honda and Horton in the Midland, each car continued to race but the Midland driver lost 6 places in the process. As the pit stops sorted themselves out it was Ferrari driver Jef Beyens leading the field with a decent pace, McLaren's season didn't improve though when on lap 30 Lloyd Ramos retired with a rear wing failure and on lap 31 team mate Steve Travis became the second victim of turn 1, the 2 McLarens were out within that number of laps, Ron Dennis was notibly distrought with the team's performance aand left the track early.

Pianelli Crashing His Williams.

On lap 35 Willaims driver Marc Pianelli, fighting back through the grid after his poor start, managed to get up on the outside of Beyens in turn 13, it was a dangerous move but Beyens defencive tactics proved more dangerous when his left rear tapped Pianelli's front right sending the Williams into a heavy impact with the wall, Marc was taken to the infield hospital but was later released with concussion and bruises. This brought out the safety car for 4 laps causing a number of cars to dive into the pits, notibly both Honda's stayed out aswell as both Renaults. The green flag came out on lap 40 and it wasn't long until lthe next retirement took place. Lap 41 and in a similar accident to Appie's earlier in the race, Toro Rosso driver Steve West collided with Bram Machiels causing the Toyota driver to retire with suspension damage. The field was down to 14 runners. Lap 47 saw the Renaults lead 1-2 with Beyens 3rd, Davidson 4th and Adam Bond continuing Red Bull's great weekend in 5th, Trendell in the sister Honda was 6th with the Midland of Brad Horton a quiet 7th and Groper in the last point paying position. The second round of pit stops took place and it was Davidson who came out infront after a great performance by the Honda mechanics, on lap 61, reigning champ Carl Audet dramatically lost his Renault in Turn 1 after a throttle failure pitched his car into the wall, the damage was heavy but Carl walked away fine, showing how strong today's F1 cars truly are.

Audet Spectacually Retires.

As the resulting safety car went back into the pits on lap 64, Beyens got a great run out of the final turn on Davidson and was able to pull out a fantastic move into turn one, Ferrai's luck however would take a change for the worse when championship contender Blake Haswell lost his Ferrari on what seemed like oil from Duncan Hutchison's Renault who also retired on the same lap. Blake was oviously dissapointed, shaking his head at Dunc and surely saying a few choice words. The very next lap saw 2 more retirements when Horton also lost it at the same corner as Haswell, Horton was seen point at a spot on the track whilst talking to marshalls, indicating that there was oil on the track. The other retirement was much more high profile, Lee Davidson had picked up the slipstream of Beyens as they went into turn 1, Davidson dived inside of Beyens but with the significant loss of downforce on the front wing, understeer caused the Honda to make contact with the Ferrari of Beyens resulting in a huge crash for Jef, the car set alight but Jef was out of the car before any serious injuries accoured, Davidson managed to keep hold of his Honda and was able to continue racing.

There Was Not Much Left Of The Ferrari.

This left 9 cars, led by a Honda 1-2 with Davidson infront of Trendell, the runners would fall to 8 before the chequard flag dropped when Dennis Groper ended what was a great race with a driver error at turn 6 beaching the BMW in the sand. This made everyone who finished the race point scorers for the second time at Indianapolis. Davidson took the win 3 seconds ahead of team mate Simon Trendell, Adam Bond in the Red Bull took a well earned 3rd with his team mate Andrew Lewis right behind him in 4th. 5th went to Joe Blow who was lucky to even be racing after his qualifying shunt, Steve West completed an eventful race in 6th with fellow rookie Bob Smith in 7th driving the BMW Sauber. Ashley Butler was the last of the runners in 8th place, a lap down on the leader.

This was a great race for Honda with a 1-2 finish whilst their rival teams failing to score antyhing, they grew their constuctors lead substancially. It was also a good day for the little teams as both Red Bulls, Toro Rossos and a BMW scoring points shuffled up the lower end of the standings. In the drivers Trendell now leads Haswell by 10 points with Davidson jumping to tie with Haswell in second. The result ment that now every driver has scored a point showing how the competition is alot closer than last year. Next up for the drivers in the French Grand Prix at Mangy-Cours where Renault will be looking to impress infront of their home supporters.

Yeah dude, just read it man. Although its concerning when you mentioned the amount of times it wrecks. lol, i'll think over it.

That might be more me than the car though. I treat it basically the same way I did my BTCC car and while I had plenty of bumps and scrapes but it always said I appeared to be fine and kept driving. I think these F1 cars might be a tad more fragile.

I'm going to pull a JV and slack off for the rest of the week/season. Finals are more important.

that's cool dude, and good luck! Hope you pwn those finals better than you do in F1. :dopey:

from the 26th to the 29th i'll not be here to maintain my half of the red bulls for this season.
I have (and very much want) to make a personal visit to my loved one.
150 miles and 3 hours stand between us and i havent seen her since this time last month.
The 27th is also my best mates & her best mates 1 year anniversary, so its kinda special for them :).
In my stead would it be okay if i lent my username and password to Lewis so we might actually be able to earn some points for a change, i have made precautions and tightened security, also changed my BATracer password to something other than the password i'll normally use for everything i ever sign up for!

It's fine with me bondy and I doubt anyone else will mind. If you're sure your precautions are enough.

Good luck, mate, hope you have a great time. I don't see how anybody could mind this at all.

As I was reading through this I thought "Ha, good luck Lewis. Have fun with that crappy Red Bull...", then it dawned on me that I'm Lewis :dunce:

If only BATRacer were usable via mobile. I am going out of town for one night and that means that I will miss one, maybe two, garage sessions. Of course, if it won't stay on the road it doesn't matter. :indiff:
