Super Aguri - 1

I don't think Brett is active anymore though

After an mistake made by Luke Mason's manager, the terms and conditions of which Mason signed to Red Bull have been changed, forcing Mason to leave the team. Mason is currently holding talks with Toyota regarding their free position along side their #1 driver Dan Graham. The deal is to be annouced in the comming days.

(Basically i want to switch from Redbull to Toyota)

The story continues...

V8 Guinea Pig Series

Hidden Valley has not been too kind to me. Race 1 saw me drop all the way to last on the first lap. I had decent car speed, and a heap of accidents in front of me saw a well deserved 10th place. Race 2 was looking good for a top 10 when 2 late driver mistakes and a mechanical fault saw me limp home in 19th after running in 9th for a handful of laps. I still haven't crashed and I think some drivers are now targeting me as I've moved to 2nd in the championship.

GTP V8 Series

Still holding on to first in the championship. If my luck from the guinea pig series visit to Winton carries over it will become very tight to hang on here. Fingers and toes crossed that the carnage that will undoubtably occur happens to others, not me.

GTP F1'06 Series

I'm being outdriven by the AWOL players 'bots! I have now set my driving sliders to 'get out and walk' = 100. It has to be better than what I'm doing in the car.

Interview With Blake Haswell.

So Blake, we are now halfway through the season, reacing expectations?

Not at all. 39 points out of a possible 110 is not where we want to be.

Your also 3 points behind your team mate, Simon Trendell, how do you rate him?

He's very fast. I hope to put him back in his place by seasons end, though (laughs). Seriously, though, he's been very competitive, and it will be a shame to end that relationship after only 1 season.

Yes moving on to the transfer for Season 4, looking forward to working with Honda?

Yes. They're a strong outfit, and I fully expect them to produce are car that can fight for the championship.

And your thoughts on being partnered with Brad Horton?

I'm very excited about that. He's a bright young talent, and it will be interesting to see what he can do in a competitive car. We seem to work in similar ways, so I see no reason why we can't find a direction in the off-season and run with it.

So, your on pole today, 7th time this season yet you've only managed to win from pole once, frustration starting to settle in?

8th pole, actually. There is a little bit of frustration. The Bridgestone tyres are great over 1 or two laps, but we've had massive graining problems so far this season. They have a new product for Hockenheim, and practise has been promising, as we've been able to lap consistantly in the 15s.

Yuuji Kawasie is currentally taking the championship by storm, how suprised are you?

He's taking the sort of point haul I would have expected from a driver of his calibre, but I am suprised that it's enough to be leading the championship. At this point in the championship, it's all to play for.

And finally, whats your view on the Hutchison incident?

That's it, this interview is over. You know that is off limits. (storms out of press room)

Always getting the exclusives.
:P

Times like this I kinda wish I actually had SPEED channel so I could watch the F1 races. Or, maybe CBS would be smart enough to pick up our own nation's F1 race instead of some bore-fest in Spain? Oh well. That's what YouTube's for ^^

Oh, and for BATRacer...who's Trendell anyway? Seems to be the new rival after Beyens (Sting?) hit a bad run of luck - and Chang ><

BAD RUN OF LUCK, UNDERSTATEMENT CENTRAL!

Allman: My car was sabotaged!

Formula 1 driver Jarrett Allman says that his car was sabotaged at Hockenheim.

"Brad Horton did it. I can just feel it."

Allman says that his car was doing fine until his blinker fluid sprung a leak, causing him to run considerably slower than usual. This caused him to finish 10th at Hockenheim.

"I usually do good here" Allman says. "Somebody messed with my car."

Brad Horton is currently being investigated. If found guilty of sabotaging Allman's car, Horton could be expelled permanently from any FIA event, and could be fined up to $500,000 and car damage costs.

woo hoo! first win, thanks for bringing out the saftey car and making everyone pit blake :D

watch your backs boys, the rbr team is making a late surge, 3rd place in the championship will be mine.......

edit: i'll go out on the first corner of the next race now i've said that

BMW318ciC
is there a GTP game that I could join ?

You can sign up for next season, I think there are 5 spots free at the moment. Look for one of Bee's posts that show which positions are vacant.

Blake
Hey, don’t blame me. Lee was the moron that wouldn’t let a faster car pass. :P

Pfft, your the fool who 'Satoed' up the inside of me, I know how Monterio feels..
:P

I am not going to participate in the next season.

I am just getting too busy with it being summer and having yard work and whatnot to take care of as well as my wife's grandmother not being in good health (we believe it's Alzheimer's) so I am going to refrain from participating in any team-based series until I get more time.

I just feel it is unfair to my teammates to have me not doing settings and coming in deadlast every weekend.

Any further participation in BATRacer will be in games without teammates or as a one-man team only. I enjoy the game and want to still play but I won't be on any teams in order to not screw anyone else up.

So, Bee, you can open up my Williams spot for someone else to take next season.

Sure thing FK, cheers for competing for 2 seasons. :)👍
