Bleh, 9th and 19th. Well, that's one thing that doesn't change. But, someone other than Blake's on pole?? Now I'm confused lol. Meh, who needs a good qualifying position when you can just kick arse in the race instead.

As for the S3 report: I'm on it. How many days do I have until it archives?

Horrible qualifying...despite I have spot on's all around. Stupid BMW (kicks BMW and watches it fall into shambles).

BMW Qualifying Report

Yuuji Kawasie: 9th Position
Jarrett Allman: 19th position.

Comments: Our drivers did not qualify as well as we expected. It may take some time for Allman to adjust to qualifying in a new car. We will not stand for this kind of qualifying constantly though. We'll be leniant for the first two races. After that, crack down time.

(I will post BMW Qualifying and BMW Race reports after each respective session which includes driver comments and BMW Officials' comments).

Obviously I took no time at all for me then. :)

Yoshi: It will prob archive soon but it's still readable afterwards.
;)

Hmm, i can't remember but I think season 2 i finished 3rd, season 3 I finished 2nd..... so going by the trend you people might as well quit because I'll be winning the drivers championship. lol

FIA Thinks Over New "Transfer System"

Today the FIA are looking over new plans to change the way transfers are delt with. They issued the following statement earlier at Bahrain:

"The FIA is currentally considering a change of transfer system where instead of the lottery which is deemed unfair by many drivers, we use the final points standings to determine what teams they may join next season. For example if you finish in the top 6 you may choose between Renault, Ferrari or McLaren. Finish is the bottom 6 lets say and you can only choose from either Toro Rosso, Midland or Super Aguri."

The new plan is to be brought up at the next GTP Drivers Assosiation (GTPDA) meeting where the drivers will get their say on the new plans.

(In other words, yay or nay to the new proposal?)

No way.

No way because:

Maybe they don't want to choose from those teams.

Maybe we can try this (just a rough idea..probably needs some rethinking):

We have a lottery to see who will be a team leader and for what team. In this format:

All participants choose a number. The respective amount of team leaders are drawn from a hat. Then those leaders pick another number, and that number determines what team they will lead.

The leaders then get to pick their teammates. It's almost like a super bowl draft. The leaders choose another number to determine who picks first, second, third, etc.. This may lead to favoritism, but could prove interesting results.

Ideas? Suggestions?

This also increases the chances of a person going to a different team as a leader. also, we could have it so if you get team leader 2 seasons in a row, you may not choose the same teammate.

But team leader does absolute FA other than giving you a nice little (L) next to your name. :boggled:

I know. But re-read my post. We could make it so the team leader chooses who gets to be on his team.

If anybody disobeys the team-joining rules, we banish them.

So say I was team leader and I chose you to join me at say Midland, you wouldn't have anysay in the matter?

That's pretty fair..

Official Panasonic Toyota Press Statement 18/7/06

We regret to announce that Danny Graham is officially the worst tester in the known universe. Every session, he is over enthusiastic twice, then crashes. The Toyota Panasonic F1 would like to wish him dead, but by contract we cannot kill him.
We would also like Ricki Lake as a pit babe.

It was just a suggestion. I said if you have ideas or improvements to post them .

Ashley.
I like the sound of the idea, but, like Lee said, being team leader doesnt matter so much..

I know. I'm just going by a system as if the team leader owns the team. He chooses who gets to race with him. I'm not implying that he gets special 1337 omguberweb functions...

I just think its gotta be a mutual thing, dragging one of the top team drivers down to super aguri would be harsh.......................................i like it:P

Ide, MachOne, not Kawasie. He's insulting your idea, not me. Wait...that's still bad. Oh well, fight away.

But sure, I'll win tommorow's race anyway, just cause you suggested it.

(yes, S3 report is coming, 8/18 races done)
