Batracer thread!

Can someone pls tell me the entry list is sorted now?

I picked for the Fezza, but it seems that Metar didnt saw my post.
 
Am I able to take any team I want, or has that already been decided?

Because I'm seeing that Ferrari don't have any drivers yet, and if we're signing up for teams here before we join one over there, I'd like to put my name down for it.

Failing that, I'll race for Team Willy or maybe Renault as I've used it before.

See, the problem with BATracer is that everyone cherry-picks, so teams like Ferrari are the first to go (it especially annoys me when people don't play, but I suspect they're lilke ad-bots), even though they're not the best to use. I've seen Spykers and Aguris win in F1 2007 and I even managed to scrape a few podiums in the Honda. But if Ferrari is there, I'll take it.

I didn't want to do that in this case as it's a private game and it's pretty well organised (at least compared to every other private game I've seen). I was fairly certain this sort of thing would have been sorted out beforehand.

Because I have no idea when I'll next be able to log on (and even less of an idea as to when Metar will), I'd like to leave a few team preferences for him so he knows what I'd like just in case I can't get back on any time soon:

1. Ferrari
2. Renault
3. Honda
4. Williams

And if they're all taken, I'll be wondering what's going on. Look out for Heidi Nickfield some time in the near future. Or Alex Tully if Ms. Nickfield isn't available to race.

All I can say to this bit of news is WHAT? 👎:irked: Since I'm pretty much new to the GTPBATracer F1 series, what does this mean for me? Am I forced to sit out S16 and can come back as early as S17?

Also, to avoid any form of cherrypicking on these boards in future seasons, how about some sort of lottery where the people who are in next season have their choice of cars based on the order they're drawn?

In other BATracer-related news, I finally won my first BATracer race in the MR-2 World Series coming in first in the Estoril Feature Race.:D:tup: Here's hoping for many more victories to come.:sly:

It just means you've lost your drive in that car for this season, unless nobody wants to take the Aguri.

eg Metar was in the Ferrari S15. He lost the lottery for S16, so he is out of Ferrari for S16 if someone wants his seat.

If nobody wants his seat, Metar could drive the Ferrari in S16 again if he so wishes.
 
Looks like this thread's activity tripled itself overnight.

Anyway - Appie, you wanted the Ferrari, you can have it, since it's open. While Sharky can keep his.

Christopher, you can simply pick any other car, just not that Aguri. That's the way our lottery goes - you get chosen, you lose THAT seat, not your entry-card. ;)
