greetings all

as im sure most will be aware ive been booted out of gtp season 24, i fear jules has made a really bad mistake

ive come here cos i know if i post on the batforum il just be ripped to shreds and branded a liar, so id like to think i have friends here who will listen to me and hear me out

i did look alot for the guinea pig game, but i am pretty sure it was nowhere near 1000 times, and i stopped pretty much when 09 came out, didnt have much interest in an 08 remake, but as i cannot be sure i accepted jules decision at the time, i assumed he was right. however i have now gone on to find out my friend and teammate has been banned for the same reason, and there is simply no way in heck that he deserved a ban, the guy has had exams the last week and has been texting me asking me to do his runs for him, such has been his lack of free time and internet access, there is no way on earth he has been refreshing too much

i have written to jules, asking for evidence of our offence, but im not exactly expecting a reply, and to be honest i feel like he has treated my friend really badly, to the point where my friend has quit, and i dont blame him, he was kicked out of 4 publics which he had a good chance of winning all of them, and right now i have lost all confidence in jules as the developer of this game

if he fails to reply to my messages i will have no other option but to leave for good, i cant play a game where i have completely lost faith in the owner

best of luck continuing with season 24, i most sincerely hope that i join you all in season 25, but if no then i wish you guys all the best because i have really enjoyed my time here and in the gtp championships, you're all a bunch of top guys and im going to miss competing with you all,

Hopefully this gets sorted out, and you'll be racing with us in S25.

I don't suppose Jules banned your friend because you signed on to his account from your IP, perhaps?

Meanwhile, I'm trying to get a top seat in a new public game, apart from the email alert does anyone know any tricks or tell tale signs as to how to get a decent seat?

Secondly, in my brawn for f12009, I qualified LAST and my team mate 2nd last :lol: we both made mistakes :dunce:

I hope you return for S25, you're one of the GTPF1 stalwarts and it won't be the same without you sticking Force Indias on the front row :(

Haha, I have an F1-2009 game as well where I'm in the Williams and the two guys in the Brawn expected a "whitewash". While they qualified one and two in Sepang, neither of them made it out of Q1 in Melbourne and both were beaten by the Force Indias.
 
But the Force Indias are pretty!

And I went 18th to 2nd in my first ever F109 race. :)
 
Is anyone able to accountsit 2 games for me for a week?
 
That also often involves loading the setup for me in GTPF1 as Danny doesnt do it until about 5am usually :D

Hmm, it appears Jules still hasn't given up his anti-Renault bias (it's not a good car, but the McLaren should be worse! From F1'07, they've always been under-rated by Jules), and Ferrari should be ages ahead of the McLaren - near BMW territory.
 
Meanwhile, I'm still holding the lead in GTPF1 :D

Just had a 1-3 at Bahrain in 09 (me third, teamie first), I now lead my teamie by one point in the DC :D
 
GTP24 is winding down, five races left.

A couple of questions about GTP25/2009 carset for you all.

One: Anyone mind if I post the link to this thread in driver chat when the time comes, and invite the players in 24 to return?

Might result in some more players, but I'm not sure what the community thinks of non-GTPers like myself polluting the GTP game. Do we want more?

Two: Honda/Brawn. Do the current Honda drivers get dibs on the Brawn, or are they free for cherry picking?
 
It certainly is winding down, I would have still been leading the championship if I hadnt crashed from P3 with 2 laps to go today. :indiff: I really want to make this Ferrari seat count because I'm likely to get a sucker seat next season. Appie now leads with me in 2nd, and Danny 4th.

Been a long time since my last BATgame. I gave my details to Metar, I don't know what happened to my account after that, but I've registered a new one. Currently in a new F1 2009 public game, in the Toyota (duh!)

I remember nearly nothing about it haha!

The F1 2009 carset has a 20 driver capacity IIRC, so we might need to shed a extra pair of drivers once this series starts out on it.

I say every 09 car be free for picking this first time around (in reverse championship order? Last place gets first pick). After we've done one round of 09 then we bring back the lottery.
 
GTPF1 is hotting up, Appie and I are tied on 57 points and the renaults aren't far behind.....4 races to go then...
