Is the Saiga any good? Out of all the shot guns it is at least the best looking.

I whipped out the Saiga on Metro two days ago because everyone was spamming shotguns and its alright... Two shot kills though... Reload is quick. I quite like it, although I think I'll be using the USAS when I unlock it...

Ive only used the m1014 once, I'd say the rate of fire is good especially if you have a happy trigger finger and recoil was very manageable. I was firing it from the hip at close range and getting kills with no problem.

Thanks, the 1014 is super slow because of it's massive recoil, nevertheless it's not bad

No problem guys, I was playing with theewar and GTP_fairplay_plz, where we kicking some butts. It was great fun.

Today was a pain - first ran into squads of Colonels which steamrolled us, then every time I joined, I had no unlocked kit to choose from. Reload and its the same story.

Just unlocked the FAMAS. Mother of God that thing is amazing! It fires so fast, and so accurately! The only downside is the reload time, but that's not that bad!

Quite liking the Back to Karkland pack! The only thing I haven't liked so far is that it took 4 Hours to download.

Its iron sights though are god awful. I love the L85A2 and i think its one of the best guns in the game.

Nothing to do with weapons just the Back to Karkand expansion free which includes 8 new guns which when unlocked can be used in the regular game too.

I'm running a core i7 oc'd to 4ghz, a GTX570, 256gb ssd, 1100w psu, Asus rampage extreme III mobo. It runs bf3 smoothly maxed out. The computer has been a work in progress but its probably near $2000. But I've upgraded parts so that's why its expensive.

Sure but what setting are you playing on and what are you looking at spending? Decent gaming laptops are much more expensive than their desktop equivalents and will go obsolete faster as they are much harder to upgrade.

Maybe 200 or 300 pound I just want a laptop that will run Iracing and BF3 well but not cost a bomb buying one

Most laptops in that price range are going to have integrated graphics that definitely wont be able to handle BF3, and might barely handle iRacing on low settings.

Better value for money, definitely. But you won't be playing BF3 and iRacing on a £2-300 rig.

Probably, but PS3 is good enough. I played BF3 on PC, and it looks great, but it's not worth the investment, unless you don't own PC.

Reason why I bought PS3 version, is cause it's not much graphically worst then on PC, but I would have to spend a lot money for PC upgrades. If you are having problems using DS3 for FPS, I would recommend buying Splitfish Fragfx Barracuda. I use FragFx v2, and i feels great, very close to PC mouse.


btw. for SQDM we need Blitz or theewar or Fairplay_plz to help us win those 5 matches :-) so we could move onto normal game modes :-)

Maybe im better off getting a brand new PS3 i already own a MAC computer i dont know if you can Play BF3 or Iracing on the MAC tho

It has a small lag, but that's problem with BF3, and Dice is working on removing input lag. There a few features that are really handy:
1. Sensitivity adjustments on fly
2. Frag button (reduces sensitivity when zooming for better precision), buttons are pressure sensitive
and other feature, these are to two I really use.

If my friend hasn't lend me Fragfx, I would have bought this one. And in the near future I will :-).
