I never played MoH.
I love bf3 but there is somethings bc2 did better but also some things bc2 only dreamed of ;)

The maps were def designed with rush in mind. And mcoms were absolutely better positioned, somehow for both teams ;)

I would pay $10 for a 4 pack of classic maps updated to frostbite 2 utilizing all bf3 gear.
Atacama,Valparaiso, the snow one from the demo, not the forested one. And arica harbor.

I never downloaded onslaught or Vietnam.
 
Not Vietnam? You missed out big time.

I loved Isla Inocentes and Port Valdez. Arica Harbor also gets an honorable mention.

I know. I think I was playing black ops or something at that time. I played a bunch on a buddies PC but never got around to downloading it. I stepped away from shooter for a while too.

I know we've had this conversation before, ( mode/class ) but you also ran the exact same setups as I did.
 
Hoping on in a few minutes. Just gotta get in the right "place". Ill be on for a couple hours. Can't wait to play in surround sound again. Been on TV speakers for 8 weeks.



Why come we no use the group page anymore?
 
I got mav killed last night.
Pretty sure the mav self destructed though so that's a plus 👍.
Starting to like the patch now. Tanks can still be used, a lot more caution is needed though. As I mentioned previously though you do really need an engineer to repair as you go.

Does anyone know if there is a web page up yet that details the affects of the attachments per weapon after the patch? Since the attachments are not global now I'd be interested to see the effects for each gun. Recoil, accuracy etc.

I was wondering the same about post patch weapon attributes.

What I like about the new adjustments to tanks and lock on Misslesx.etc is after a week or two I think we will see much more diverse loadouts. I was mostly Therm opt, reactive arm and either canister or one of the machine guns.
Now depending on the enemy, Therm camo becomes useful as well as smoke. Guided Missles if the other team has a competant tanker or canister shells on maps like sienne since main cannon splash can't even knock down a chain link fence anymore.

Its gonna change alot of tactics. No more just bombimng in and dealing death with a tank. Now its more of a support from a slight distance type weapon.

Totally made up state incomining.........
90% of my death by tank driver. = Therm optics, canister shell, reactive armor.......

Same loadout I always used, but it was painfully common.

Battlefield 3 is like Medal of Honor.

I hope BC3 isn't like this. I want it like BC2 was. Perfect. Old maps too.

God no... Medal of Honor was a terrible game. The fact you can find a full game in BF3 at 3 am proves that. MOH was dead after a couple months.

Oh and BC3 is a long long way off if ever. It's already been confirmed BF4 is in development so I highly doubt they'll squeeze in BC3.
 
Laggy servers are killing my enjoyment factor. I don't think I'll be able to rank up at this rate, perhaps I should wait for the weekdays to play online.

Seriously BC3 NEEDS to happen. I had way more fun with the BC series than I ever have with BF3.
 
It still maintains a Battlefield theme. By not so serious I mostly mean the story. The MP is still with large maps and destruction and vehicles with team play elements.

But even online seemed less serious. I've tried to explain before, but it's hard to put my finger on it.

I dunno I thought it was really good. Maybe not as serious a FPS as Battlefield 3, but it was still a great game. It was still more serious than Call of Duty no matter which way you look at it.
 
I really liked Medal of Honor. Can't wait for the upcoming one. Especially since it'll be on the BF3 engine. :D
 
Words cannot describe how much I hate EA for this stupid update. There was one problem I had with the main game and that was it. They addressed it but it just added so many more stupid, unnecessary things to the game. Am I the only one who thinks this?

Is it even ****ing possible to join a NON custom server anymore?

Ummmm ya! You and me both I was like wtf!. Bad luck is much more.frequent now as a whole.

67 minute round wore me out. I fell apart at the end.

Gatyrs and I were tearing up the tank early on, I think that's what killed.the server.

Good game though.
Even though I went 40-4 for nothing. Damn unrated games.
Probably why I went 40-4, but of well.

Had twenty or so kills with only one death to begin with. :lol:
Proves that tanks CAN still be effective when you somewhat know what you're doing.
