New AM expansion looks awesome... Maybe time to actually buy Premium now and come back out of my hiatus....

Finally, you've been out of the battlefield for 187 days. AM is a awesome expansion, and others too.

^ Yo Dzidza,

Yeah its been 187 days too long.... :) Launch trailer of this expansion got me interested again. Gotta go out and get a PSN card and get it ASAP!

Are you going Premium or just this AM expansion?

Going to buy Premium, since I want the other packs too... Just been on hiatus for a while so if I pick it up again now it'll be like a whole new game with all the expansions, which I have not played yet either... :p

Battlefield premium is almost a perfect example of how season pass should look like.

So I unlocked both crossbows and an additional bold, and you carry 9 of both so you can go from regular bolt to balanced bold on the fly. I can see this weapon becoming overpowered

I cant, the reload time is like 10minutes.

And it's so hard to kill someone with it unless you are close to an enemy.

The standard bolt will be a one hit kill from the waist up and close to medium range. The balanced bolt is like a sniper, 1 shot hit to the heand and has next to no dro on it. The explosive bolt has horrible fdrop but can disable scout helis in 1 shot

Okey i didnt know what the other bolts are like, but thats pretty overpower. Its like M16 with a Smaw attached to it and it shoots magnum rounds.

Yesterday It was a nightmare to kill someone on TDM Canals rofl.

I can see Canals CQ being more impossible for the US with everybody carry bows with explosive bolts :indiff:.

Well, if my inability to hit moving targets last night was anything to go by, yes, they have done something to the input lag....

The input lag has disappeared for me. The TV Missile actually responds to your movements now

Possibly a really really stupid question here but will buying premium mean i can get scavenger and the new DLC free as well?

On a separate note last night my friend mowed down 9 people with 1 LMG spray, I've never had luck like that:grumpy:

Yup. Premium is a one-off cost that allows you to download all of the DLCs (including guns, maps, vehicles and camos).

Spmeone asked a couple days ago

Bf3 with b2k, cq, ak and aftermath = a whopping 9328 MB.
Plus another 1076MB for profile data, which probably varies depending on unlocks etc.

Ha i used to think premium at £40 was for idiots but i'd be stupid not to get this with the level of stuff available now. Is the much more in the way of DLC planned?
Yes.

[Edit]: Damn it Daniel.
Lol nice try, thanks anyway:)

Endgame, a few soldier upgrades(camo packs) and Bonus content drop.

I've seen no performance drops on mine. You didn't mention if it was universal or not, but for reference I've also not played any maps *but* the new ones since they released.

Loving the aftermath DLC. Map design is good and scavenger is better than I expected. The TV missile is useable and already got a couple of helicopters using it. Only problem is the poor amount of pilots who take off and crash

Found this in the FPT

I hope you don't think the last one will actually be something good... So far we've had a pdf artbook, desktops, an exclusive PS3/360 theme and extra soldier images for the stats page. I suppose they're technically downloadable content but at this rate the last one will be ringtones. I would say it'll be the soundtrack but I'm sure they're selling that for £7.99 somewhere.

But yeah, all in all, Premium has been quite nice. The soldier upgrades would've made it worthwhile for me even if there hadn't been a discount on the large DLCs, but when you compare the vanilla game to one with the premium content there is a huge difference, I know I wouldn't want to be without the extra weapons from CQ and the awesome maps in AK. Looking forward to Aftermath, sounds like it'll be awesome.

He asked what content was yet to come, And i answered. What makes you think from what I said that I think it will be anygood?

As I've said I bought premium for a saving on all the DLCs and the few perks that come with it like Early access and server priority. Anythingelse can be pure horse:censored: as far as I'm concerned. If its good then great, but if its not? Big deal. That's not what I payed all my £ for. After all its what its described as, Bonus...

Premium was well worth the £'s for me, Nomatter how good the Bonus content was or wasn't.

Oh, just the beers and the fact he was asking about DLC, in my mind it meant you thought the last Bonus Content Drop would be actual in-game DLC.

Ah I see, I just listed all the "content" we got to come. I was a bit vague In my answer, apologies. ;) 👍

And I was being pedantic.

I think my favourite thing to do in the game, even more so than C4 trolling and long range headshots, is repair tooling. It's just the best thing, I love it when people panic and just give you their tank. In the last five games I've played on Kharg I've managed to spend most of the round in one of their tanks just so they're a tank down, not even because I particularly like using tanks. Excellent griefing technique.

And as Brett will tell you, I hate it when the other side gets one of my side's tanks. I joined him in a Rush game on Seine and they took our LAV after the second set of MCOMs so we spent most of the next set trying to kill it, I disabled it three times but they had several engineers sitting in their restricted area which was pretty cheap. We got it in the end though, turned out to be a good game.

Stolen many tanks this way. Did that on Bazaar last night. Was running around in the enemy BMP the entire 500 ticket match. *Evil laugh*
