First time it happened for me. I downloaded it again and it installed automatically so everything looks good.

God I miss that game. PLayed it for many hours.
 
My thoughts so far.

CTF - Awful, javelins and mines everywhere general cluster mayhem around both flags not really my cup of tea.

Air Superiority - Quite fun, not sure on lasting appeal but I enjoyed the spectacle if nothing else. In fairness I did very well in my only game of it so far but nonetheless I feel it's a nice new experience.

Rush - Same old story, can offer greatness but generally one team dominates the other so much it's not fun for either.

CQ - As always, where it's at. You actually get a chance to use everything in the pack and it was just generally alot more fun. I'll play more when the DICE servers start up properly for a CQ only variant.
 
My friends and I squaded up for a few endgame matches. Decided to be a passenger on the dirtbike and do drive-by C4ing. Was very entertaining.
 
How to get hate mail.

1. Place C4 on tank (about three to four)
2. Back up and pull out your shotgun equipped with frag rounds
3. Shoot tank at spots where you placed C4
 
I just played some Endgame for about an hour and a half. Air supperiority is fun, CTF is meh and everything else is alright. In all honesty, I don't think it did much. More of the same. Complete, in-depth review later.
 
The new maps look gorgeous and remind me of Armored Kill, and unfortunately, the gameplay reminds me of Armored Kill as well. With the attacking team having bikes they are at the M-coms before the defenders are to start the game. Just like paradropping from the AC-130. Twice in two games on the winter map I spawned at the start of the game in the defenders deployment ran to the M-com area and got shot in the back as the attacking team can drive their bikes right behind the area where the defending team deploys. Needless to say, getting those mcoms wasn't a challenge for them.

I always feel like a noob on new maps but never as much as when Armored Kill and now these maps came out.

Destroyed a tank with a L96 by shooting a downed teammates c4 once =P
Would have loved to see their reaction lol

Yeah AS is really fun. So is CTF. CTF is really challenging that's on of the hardest modes to play in my opinion
 
Personally I don't feel that it made that much impact to the game. AS also gets a bit annoying with ten million IR flares giving you bad luck deaths as well. CTF was alright, definitley want to experiment more with that. AS is a good way to get lots of jet points fairly easy as well.
 
CTF is great. It is my favourite mode by far now.

Although the dirtbike really is king in those games.
 
That was my other peave. The dirtbike. It seems to get hung up on nearly every type of terrain. At least in CQ.
 
The dirtbike also seems to have the hitbox of a Humvee. Don't even attempt to squeeze between mines with it, even if the mines aren't anywhere near the bike.

That was my other complaint. Also 1 shot from a gun will nearly drop it 55% health

Ahh the amount of fun I have had when people come towards me hoping to road kill me for me to shoot them on their bike.
 
Yes its fun but I get angered very easily when it happens to me XD
 
Just 2 assignments left now, The SCAR L & M39. Left the 2 easiest till last. G53 looks swish in its camos. :)

I will tell you what. It wasn't really hidden. It is in plane view.
 
All assignments done and to conclude, The G53 is brilliant as is the SCAR L. The QBB is pretty good, Like the accuracy. The M39 has some definite hit detection issues and the MK3A1 is the biggest load of rubbish ever likely to kill anyone.
 
My BF3 Disc wont work so CRAP! It never works properly, and now my PS3 rejecting the own disc. Making loud clunky noises.... so no more bf3...
 
Well, my Battlefield 3 career will be put on hold on April 5th, due to Age of Empires II HD. :D

Simply cannot wait, but I'll try to get every assignments done though (maybe not the jet/helicopter ones).
