We asked it after the first Horizon was revealed.
We asked it after the second Horizon was revealed.
We asked it after the third Horizon was revealed.
We asked it after the fourth Horizon was revealed.
We asked it after the fifth Horizon was revealed.
And now we’re asking it again after the sixth Horizon has been revealed. Where do you think the next Horizon should be held?

Shouldn't the poll be "where WILL it be" rather than "where SHOULD it be"?

In any case, I've gone for Eastern Europe, which in this case is the answer for both polls (I hope ).

We've had the American continent in FH4 and Asia in FH5, so unless they're going back to Australasia (Tasmania anyone?) history suggests the next game will be somewhere in Europe.

Poland was very flat when i toured it, so it would be perfect for Eliminator

I've said it before and I'll say it again - they should have multiple maps in different locations rather than one big map in one location. The variety and easy support for long-term (perhaps infinite?) live-service action speaks for themselves, even if said maps may or may not be smaller.

That being said... I weirdly don't hate the idea of Poland @sirjim73. Their highways have some of the highest speed limits outside of Germany, Eliminator would love the endless low-lying fields - though there exists mountains in the south, so not all hope is lost for the kensei dorifto crowd - and it would mean FH7 could get the all-too-famous Maluch:

LOOK AT IT. Or we could get a bunch of tuned up old Mercedes, which is cool too.

if I had a stab at locations I would think are strong possibilities

Germany or the Nordic countries

Why go to Poland for a Maluch, when you could visit Turin, do burnouts on top of the Lingotto building, and get a proper Fiat 126?

Greece and the Balkans in general have a serious variety of landscapes!!
With highways, small country roads and several steep climbs interspersed with large and small cities.
Landscapes that alternate with beautiful beaches.

So far the logic has been clear...

America-Europe-Asia/Oceania-Europe-America-Asia/Oceania

6 Games, 2 on each region. The logic would dictate Europe again, unless they want to try Africa next.

You only need to look at past results of this survey to see how much Japan has been requested - any successor is naturally going to have a hard time competing with that location.

My prediction therefore would be something new entirely concept-wise - maybe FH7 will be "the final horizon" and a modular live service game with multiple maps, including the ones from previous entries.

Other than that, for the magic number 7, I predict them going back to the roots with an American festival and some throwbacks to the original game.

We wont get a "reboot" until number 8, which will just be called "Forza Horizon" ;)

Somewhere in the Dark Dimension.

If not, how about Iceland? Breathtaking scenery and outstanding verticality, plus all that catchy toe-tapping Icelandic pop music for the soundtrack.

I'd hope Europe or Africa personally. I think Middle East may be a good prediction though since those countries are coming up in the car world.

The part of me that lived in the area for a year wants Western Virginia, the Blue Ridge/Shenandoah area. All 4 seasons are shown every year, cool wet springs, hot summers, cool orange autumn, and a snowy winter. When I lived at The Big Meadows Lodge there were classic car meets almost weekly ranging from pre war classics to newer supercars. Plus the really cool part, Shenandoah National Park's biggest attraction is a 105 mile continuous drive through some really unmatched temperate forrests. And if you need a city Washington DC is about 2 hours away (Or Richmond). Plus the amount of NASCAR History a few hours down the road in North Carolina??? Sounds like a perfect combo to me

Forza Horizon 5 rumours were Mexico or Japan
Forza Horizon 6 were Japan or Germany
Pretty easy to get where it will located

I know it’s not going to be anywhere in Oceania, but it would be nice, just so we can enjoy those islands before they disappear due to the effects of global warming.

I think they'll be coming to California or PNW (Vancouver)

edit: The perfect Horizon playground, not that I'm biased, would be this:

Maybe use some Horizon trickery to take the border all the way out to Tahoe. In a fictional world with no Cruise America RVs, no police, and limited traffic, it's a driving & scenery nirvana I don't think can be beat anywhere in the world and I will die on that hill.

I'd definitely be up for their take on that west coast, especially as it'll almost certainly be on the next gen and they could incorporate the different vibes of a San Diego, San Francisco and Portland city across a larger map. Very diverse area if they were to include the desert, too.

I would really love it if they went back to the US. I see three options atm.

Pacific Northwest/NorCal - maybe even BC, Canada if they wanna be a little bit crazy
New England
East Coast/Blue Ridge/Appalachian Mountains

Is there any chance to get Forza in Europe? But I am talking about central Europe, like Ukraine or Poland?

It’s possible, but with Ukraine being an active war zone, I doubt it. At least not any time soon. It would be a good choice otherwise. With the Baltic Sea in the north, the Black Sea in the south, and the Carpathian Mountains in the middle, it would be a great place to hold a Horizon Festival.

I see a lot of other places before I see central or eastern Europe.

Turkiye (technically partly eastern Europe) would be excellent.
India would be very cool, but I think it's unlikely.

China & South Africa would work but much too politically fraught.

I'm somewhat surprised they haven't done an Island (other than the UK, which is very large) nation/territory like Cypress, Sardegna, etc

I still think California or PNW is most likely.

I wouldn't mind seeing the game set in multiple countries like 2 and 4 were. Even if it's just the Spain/Portugal border.

The Pacific NW would be a good location (and I’m not just saying that because I live here.) It has the only temperate rain forest in the lower 48 on the west coast. Two major mountain chains, the Olympics and the Cascades. Five active volcanos, including the largest, Mt. Rainier at 14,410 ft/4,392 meters. A natural shortgrass prairie in the southeast. The Puget Sound, the San Juan Islands, major cities, vast evergreen forests, apple orchards that supply 60% of all apples in the US, the Channeled Scablands in the central part of the state, created by more than 40 catastrophic floods at the end of the last ice age that scoured away almost all topsoil in the region, the Okanogan highlands in the northeast, and major rivers like the Snake and Columbia.
