Not true on pc I don't believe. Midnight in PST so if anybody here is an East coaster on pc I believe your waiting until 3 am.

You don't have to wait if you use a proxy to activate and then turn the proxy off. :)
 
The PC release date has been changed to TODAY.
 
I pre-ordered mine yesterday. :lol: Now I am going to the midnight launch at my local EB Games, :D Going to pick up some Redbull on my way home too.. I don't like that fact I have school tommorow though.

Extremely excited for this one. Just watched Gamespots live multiplayer & man... wow. "99 problems but MW3 ain't one"

True words here. Just as the GT5 DLC comes out. Maybe in a few years I'll buy it.
 
The stuttering on the PC version is driving me crazy. I don't think I'll be able to play it, unless they fix it. It'a almost enough to give me a headache. It's bad when your getting 120 fps and the game is still jerking around. I didn't have this problem at all in the beta, it ran perfect.

If anyone has any fixes for it, for Nvidia cards I would love it. I've seen the fix for ATI cards, but nothing for Nvidia yet.

I have Nvidias and i would be pissed if it turned out to be worse then the BETA which ran perfect except for some minor flashes every once in a while.

there are people on the Battlelog forums complaining about negative mouse acceleration. Maybe that is part of the issue for Bevo.. not sure. The most relevant post on that forum seems to be the following:

I saw someone post something relevant here, Try it out and tell me if it fixed it for you?

I also noticed strange mouse sensitivity what I did was:

1. go here: C:\Users\YOU\Documents\Battlefield 3\settings
2. Open PROF_SAVE_profile with notepad++ (can download for free)
3. Change the following variables:

GstInput.MouseSensitivity 0.050000 ;1st one is the normal mouse sens. USE whatever you like, or keep it the way it is.

These three however I edited and it solved many problems for me.

GstInput.Scheme0Sensitivity 0.000000
GstInput.Scheme1Sensitivity 0.000000
GstInput.Scheme2Sensitivity 0.000000

Always make a Back up or remember the original values folks!

This is just from what I have read. I have not played the game other than to load it up to make sure it worked. I will be getting on in about 10 minutes though.

I won a free copy of BF3 tonight at a Walmart tournament.. I got it on Xbox because my buddy had an extra ps3 controller I wanted/needed and he wanted the copy. I already paid for it in full just have to pick it up tomorrow morning..
 
Oh my god. I've been trying to shoot this guy down in "Going Hunting" for about 15 minutes now. Hard mode really is freaking hard.

edit: Wow, I got lucky and finally shot him with guns. Hard mode makes it almost impossible to lock on. AND WTF, IT GETS EVEN HARDER AFTER YOU KILL THE FIRST GUY!

Only 1 revolver in the game, and it's crap.

Disappointed, and the sniper rifles were the usual suspects, so no redemption there.
 
So far I'm thinking the beta was better than the real thing LOL. The maps are just so chaotic.
 
I love this game. Fricking epic. Conquest is the best thing ever. I said I'd only play one game and I played at least 4 or 5. I can't wait until I can play again. I see no way MW3 is going to be this fun. Oh and...

Why is the M16 so win? BECAUSE MACHINE GUN.


and I didn't win much. Just some little zombie key chain. Someone else won a copy of the game. They brought that one out last without making mention of it before hand.
 
Unfortunately the 480 can't handle ultra, no big suprise. Well it can "handle" it but the stuttering is annoying.

The sound has improved alot, and so far i'm enjoying it. Just need to upgrade the video card. Good game so far.
 
I need to wait two more days :( Bleh.....

Me too! :( But I guess I rather pay less for my imported copy than cop the price our local retailers are trying to stick us for.
 
I'm actually liking BC2 better so far. Conquest maps are a giant PITA. BF3 rush is great though.

BF2 was the only one that did conquest right. Like 64 map metro is just a deathmatch. Tehran highway is underwhelming. Nothing has wowed me yet but im enjoying the campaign.

Yeah, doesn't come out for consoles here in Japan. And I have to wait until November 2nd when I fly back to the United States to visit my parents. I'm quite cross :( lol
