I love spotting a huge group and my team moves in on them and the string of assists just roll in haha. Its quiet when it destroys it too so some sniper that has a beacon setup doesnt realize he wont be spawning there anymore.

according to what a buddy told me.

"they are now resetting cheaters account, or just banning them out right (have already banned a lot of people), they are addressing the controlled lag issues, making jets easier to land for repair, fixing the flashlights to be more realistic, and some other things.

This was all said by a friend that I believe saw it on tweeter.

I'm happy if it's true, ban cheaters they make the game crap for everyone else.

I'll re-post this question which I accidently made on the MW3 thread;

How are we supposed to practice flying a plane or helicopter without going online and essentially stuffing-up a team match? There has to be an easier, guilt-free way.

Campaign would take a while to get started into flying, wouldn't it? I also need to familiarise myself with the online maps. At the moment, I can only last a few steps from my spawn point before someone on the other team does a head-shot on me. I'm not learning much this way.

I think I heard there's a flightschool server for PC quite a few pages back.

otherwise, I play on ps3 so I switched my flight controls to "legacy" so pitch and yaw are on the same stick and roll is on the left stick, and that made things so much easier, and once you think through how they operate, you will do much better

Depends what your playing on. As was said with pc there are flight school servers.

On console you can try the second coop mission a few times for helicopter practice. The jet isn't all that useful in games any way so crashing that many times really won't hurt your team all that much.

I just thought of a way to do this, though I'm not much familiar with the menus yet as I just click (or hit X) multiplayer and join a random match, but can't you create a private match? If so, do that and explore and teach yourself to fly. If it requires a few people to make a private match, grab some buddies who want to learn the maps and how to fly. If you're on PS3 I'd like to join you.

Thanks for the tip. I've now changed it to Legacy SouthPaw. Look similar to the controls I'm used to in Gran Turismo. I've never been a fan of EA's controller settings, for any of their games.

I forgot to mention that I'm using the PS3 version. :) Surely they would have another school for the console versions?

I usually get killed within the first few seconds of flying a Jet. Usually by some bloke shooting the planes as they take off, or a missile lock.

I'm not a massive fan of playing the missions. I know they're great, but I won't get any further than the first few.

There's an 'invite a friend' option. Though I'm not sure if you can restrict the amount of people who come in.

My friends own Battlefield on PC, so I can't add anyone. You can add me so we can try and get some flying lessons in. That would be awesome.

Add me. I'm nnot home. BubbleBelly542

And I meant that you.could just not invite people, but if a private match required a few people to start, so you can't just roam around by yourself, then I was saying you could just find other people with the same things in mind.

Added. :)

What is the minimum amount of people needed? I'm guessing it'll be 3?

Has anyone managed to unlock the G3A3 yet? I've nearly unlocked the EMR but I'm still 40k points away and it feels like I've been doing co-op forever.

Server disconnects on a 1000 ticket conquest is very irritating. Did numerous captures, 20 kills, 5 deaths, 5 vehicles destroyed, unlocked some things. Was about to take out a tank and suddenly a message saying server disconnect and all gone again.

Why does it only happen when I'm playing well?
Tried to reconnect but server was full.

My first and only game with the Devs so far. First place :) No tags though.

I unlocked the EMR yesterday. I am about 50k points away from unlocking the 93R. I would not mind grinding Co-op as much if there were more than six missions and better matchmaking. I am only getting into a Co-op missions around 50% of the time or so it seems.

Finally got my game working since 2 days or so.

It´s the drivers apparently. I have to disable SLI for it to work, still getting pretty good FPS nonetheless.
Game is absolutely sick!

It´s a love and hate thing :) Sometimes you are on a tare just killing everything that moves and other times you are simply getting your ass handed to you :)

The 93R is really good.

I want to unlock the EMR so bad. I love the M40's accuracy though, even at good distance it feels natural. Like on Operation Firestorm there was a guy running across at distance and I judged the shot what felt right and nailed him in the head at 350m. Hopefully the EMR is that accurate or i'll be disappointed.

The EMR seems somewhat odd. The bullet doesn't drop much with the rifle scope, but it doesn't hit the same spot consistently.

(I do sorta suck at sniping though)

I'm loving the PKP, it is a beast.

also the scar with IR scope.......owned

Having good luck with team players, but from time to time you get those cheating/team killing POS

I am about 36k away from unlocking it now. Grinding the same six co-op missions to unlock weapons is getting a bit old, mostly because since it seems I am only being matched up with another player every other attempt at attempting a co-op mission. I have been playing a co-op mission or two and then jump into multiplayer for a bit, as I get tired of waiting to get into a co-op mission.

I have not tried the EMR as a Sniper Rifle, but I would guess it compares to the Mk 11 Mod 0. I have only used the EMR as a Battle Rifle without a scope. The EMR is definitely powerful that way and it would help if I could aim a bit better with the weapon.

I have noticed somewhat of the same thing with the EMR. I have often thought my bullets should land on target, but end up with no hit marker. Quite frustrating!

I think it has to do with the scopes mainly. If you put on the laser sight it's below the center of the rifle scope, so aim with the laser sight.

Killed two choppers while driving a tank (lot of fun), then on a match 3 enemies kept mortaring us. I got sick of it so I countered and killed the enemy mortarers (spelling?), then another teammate got sick of it too and joined me in mortaring the mortarers lol

I've found the EMR makes an awesome battle rifle once you've unlocked the dot sight and foregrip (the silencer is also useful if you're playing rush and trying to sneak to the crates).

You get caught out slightly at close range though due to the lack of fully automatic fire but otherwise if you're aim is good you can be near enough unstoppable with it.

I just need the M93R for close range now and I'll have a pretty unbeatable class.

That's exactly why I want the EMR. I snipe but if I need to go close range either I switch classes or I equip a red dot which isn't too effective with a bolt action. The EMR seems versatile and that's what I want.

Cale
I tried Hard core today, I liked it.

Really? I'm hesitant to play hardcore because it feels like already doesn't take much to die. But everyone seems to like it so maybe ill try it out.

Blackbird.

It replaces the m14, i used 4x scope in BC2 and did close and long range

I'm amazed at how far i got this weekend, I completed campaign, and completed co-op from beginning, and went from having nothing for jets the past 2 weeks to getting flares, heat seekers, stealth, and belt speed in 3 days

Next weekend I'll do co-op on normal, then hard so grinding isn't as boring as grinding a-spec :sly:
