Does anyone know how to "spot" on PS3 and how it works. Thankyou.

Put your crosshairs over an enemy and tap select, it'll put an orange triangle above their head and mark them on the map. Doesnt work from miles away like other games though.

overpowered? :) We are talking about guns capable of putting rounds right through you, imo they are nerfed every single one of them.

I want more realistic "life" then what we have now.

We're talking about video game where Recon can put small "radio thing" and you spawn right through it to continue the battle. If I wanted to feel "realistic" war I would be a mercenary in some banana republic, not in front of my TV. I want more balanced gameplay. With addition of prone stance recoil is almost non existent on those guns and with "2 shots anywhere -> kill" system, it is way too easy to rack up frags.

Yup and personally i would like to have it so if you die, you are dead for the round, then have 100 vs 100 players instead.

DICE have tried servers with that much and it is possible but they felt it was best to run less then that.

There are quite a few custom servers but you can get banned from origin for going on them and lose all of your games purchased on origin (in reality that's incredibly unrealistic but I thought I'd point that out).
I just can't believe that's true. You can get sent into them using quick match. And how is someone suppoae to know which ones are the real servers and which ones are the hacked ones. Most people don't spend all day long reading forums like everyone in here. The majority of gamers just plop in the game and start playing. How would they know that there are even hacked servers to begin with?

For once it was great that the game shut down :)
Had 0-3! But there was alot of lag and i got killed despite being behind rocks etc.
Hopefully it did not save that ;)

That's true, but it's what EA said on the forums (which most people don't read) to deter people. It's pretty much an empty threat but the cost is quite high if you lose all your games on origin so I thought I'd mention it.
 
So is that battlelog thing up and running? I'd like to check some overall stats.
 
yea works fine here, just some lag in-game though but the battlelog works.

My little brother is lvl 22 now LOL, i´m at almost 10.

EDIT: Use chrome here.

It works, only when it wants.

I can't get it to work with Google Chrome right now, so i'm forced to use Firefox for it to work. I hope this BS doesn't continue with the final. No one asked for a browser launcher.
 
Ugh I want to play more since I'm really close to some more unlocks that I've been waiting for, but I have a paper due tomorrow.

Well I have never really played any FPS on PC. Adjusting to moving my character with a keyboard has been a big change. Aiming is better, I just think I have been shooting more to try and get suppression points.
 
I wish I could play BF on PC. I briefly played Play4Free, and I actually found that I prefer keyboard and mouse. It just seems quicker and more direct. Shame my PC doesn't match the minimum requirements. I think it has a Radeon 2000 series or something. :lol:

Eh... play4free mimics BF2 and the controls are more responsive and quick. BF3 follows BC1 and 2 more and the controls are a bit more sluggish but once getting used to it it's not bad.

Tried out the M16A3 with an ACOG. Not bad at all.

I use the m16 with acog, grip and heavy barrel. I'm thinking about ditching the barrel for the tac light but I'm not sure. The barrel mod made a noticeable difference on single shots.

According to the battlefield wikia the SKS is unlocked at 36,000 and the M39 at 203,000 recon score. Looks like I should start playing a little more eh?
 
Favorite combo right now is:

MK11 MOD 0 - ACOG, foregrip, laser (for close quarters, caught off guard)
M9 Tac
Ammo

It's really too bad the MK11 is not a universal weapon. Makes me always want to be on the US side.

For defending the SV98 with Balistic (12x) is epic. I do have a feeling the semi-auto rifles like the MK11 are going to get nerfed in the final product. It's so easy to rack up a 5 kill streak within 10 seconds or so.
 
I'd never use a sniper rifle that needed more than 3 body shots or 2 head shots. I'm not sure how they could nerf it and still leave it a viable option for its intended role.

While I agree with you 100% and even I think a headshot should be only 1 hit(and I believe it is for the most part), the fact of the matter is it's a game and people that don't want to play recon are bound to 🤬 about it. :indiff:
 
I found a 255 person server. The game would crash when you tried to get in though.
