Had amazing time with Bubble, first we completed the first Co-op and failed the second because of mistakes. But the squad rush was really fun! We both were all kits but the recon part was the best. Our communication was really working! Next we will complete the second Co-op! We have to. :P

Ya. We were about to complete it the first time but I got cocky and crashed the helicopter seconds before the mission was over. Then the square randomly died. Weird.

The sniping was great. We really worked together.

Hard work for a few matches there gundalini. Cleaned up at Bazaar and Tehran, then got cleaned up at Seine once you left.

Way too many knobs MAV killing. I think I got taken out 4 times. :indiff:.

Sorry about my sudden departure, a few friends turned up for a BBQ for my wifes birthday.
I noticed Roush had turned up as well. 👍
Yeah the guy got me once with the MAV as well, it just turned up out of nowhere. :grumpy:

Cheers Shaun

Hahaha funny thing..... Power was knocked out for 3 days and just got it back a few hrs ago do to ice storm @ one point there were 300,000 people in western washington without power and the next morning looked like a scene from BF3, a thick haze of wood smoke and road closures due to broken branches and entire trees and there's a wind advisory for the next few days so it might go out again. The power was out at thun field so I got a METAR report from McChord AFB that said visibility was only 1 mile (usually 10) due to smoke/ smog, but here it was only 2 blocks. I have 19 unread subscribed threads to read

I played a few rounds with the M40 on seine and this squad put a spawn beacon up and it wouldn't let me destroy it so I sat behind it and just took out 6 different guys about 3 times before the finally got me pullin the bolt while hip firing in prone

I went 28 and 20 that round with M40, SG553 and SMAW

Edit: I still have yet to be killed by a MAV although I have seen it first hand

Last night i had some fun with a weapon combo some of you will know. I used a semi automatic shotgun ( Saiga 12K) with frag rounds. I only started using because everyone else on the TDM server was. Its a cheap kill because that thing make you into a mini tank but it was the most fun i had in ages. I only started using it last night and I'm up to 157 kills.

Just had a terrible round to finish off a few good ones. Not only did my squad spend half the match playing with themselves on the carrier at Noshahr waiting for choppers, but I got 'bad luck' killed 3 times and knifed 4 :grumpy:

@Roush_fan_99, I only lost my power for around 45 minutes on Thursday. I was pretty lucky.

And on topic with BF3; I've recently been making a surge to try and get air-warfare ribbons, as I want the dog tag associated with getting 10 of them. So far I'm up to 3. My observations are: jets still aren't good against ground targets, people still can't fly helicopters, surprisingly people suck at gunning in a helicopter, and scout helicopters are hard to find when you want them.

Lies. Jets are good against ground troops if you know what perks to use. (Air Radar, Flares, and Rocket Pods) I went 20-1 in a jet at Caspian because I kept on destroying jeeps and tanks. It's easy if you get the hang of it.

On a side note - I just went 50-23 and 8,200+ points today in Canals. Pretty epic.

Here's the jet proof - http://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf3/battlereport/show/23400503/4/240278583/

And here's my 50-23 - http://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf3/battlereport/show/23419255/4/240278583/

EDIT - I messed up, it was 50-23 :guilty:

I don't care what my score is as long as the team wins.
^^^^^^^
Flying elvis for the win!!!!!

Exactly.
Big scores are very achievable without big kills if you are using your kits effectively, and your squad is using your equipment if your recon.

Nothing worse than locking targets with soflam for ever and have no one pick up on it, or unused spawn beacons, etc.

Does anyone know if say i spawn as recon but pickup an engi kit from a dead enemy/teammate and get some kills, do the points go to recon?
Bad company 2 worked this way.

Just started playing this on console tongiht. I had been playing it some on PC, but my xbox buddies are getting tired of COD and finally got this.

How in the world do you get into games together. There will be anywhere between 4 and 10 of us playing this game. Tonight there was only 4 of us and we had a really hard time getting on the same team together. We had 5 on but couldn't get the 5th guy in the squad to go into the game with us.

If someone would be so kind as to give me some instructions on how to take large groups of people into a game together and get us on the same team.

Create the squad before you join the match

You are lucky, anyway I'm waiting for guided missiles before I get that ribbon award

When you are looking to join a game go to the server browser and check the option to look for servers with only 5 or more players. You can join a server and wait for it to fill up. That's about the only way.

But how do you get your players all on the same team? Also, can you only have 3 other people go into a game with you, or do you have to just keep trying to find open rooms with enough spaces and then try and all get into the same one?

So far this game seems way to hard to get people into games together. I can't imagine the devs didn't think that people might have more then 3 friends that they wanted to play with.

I was really hoping I would get my COD friends into another game to play together, but maybe COD is the only game that actually wants people to be able to play with their friends. The PC version of BF3 is pretty easy to get big groups in games, so i figure I'm just missing something on the console version.

If you want to get in a game with friends using a squad the max amount of players per squad is 4. So if you want to play with more friends it can be done but you will just not be in a squad. I think the best way to get all friends on the same team is on the server browser find an an empty server. Wait for it to start filling up then you should be able to swap teams until everyone is together. But the only problem with this if there are more than 4 people so you aren't in a squad at the end of the round you might get split up for team balance.

It's a bit of a shame they don't have larger squads in certain modes, squad deathmatch/rush for instance could be 6 v 6.

That's just stupid. Why would they make it so hard to play with friends? I don't care if we are all in the same squad or not, but I want us all on the same team. Why wouldn't they just have a party system like COD and then you could pick your squads once the game starts?

Last night we had a 4 man squad and when the game started it still put us on different teams. This is probably going to ruin the game for us. We usually have at least 5 people on a night and usually around 7 or 8. How could Dice not make it so large groups can play together. I thought battlefield was suppose to be a large team based game, but they won't let you play with a large team, so you can actually get with people who want to use strategy.

Seriously, this game would be best played with 12 people who all know each other working together, but it seems that this isn't possible. I'm going to get an earful tonight whenever I try to explain this to everyone who I talked into buying the game. I had no idea they would leave something so obvious out of the game.

yeah 6 man squads would be good on some modes because at the moment SDM and SR only have a max of 16 payers ( 4 squads of 4) but with 6 it could be 24 ( the max for consoles)

I don't care how big the squads are. I just want us all to be on the same team. They could be 12 one man squads or 1 twelve man squad. I just want to be on the same team as my friends. I played some more by myself today, and It's really hard to coordinate anything on this game, without people your in a party with. I think I got in just one squad today where someone used a mic.

You would think that a game as big as this, would reward you for using teamwork, not make it impossible to use it. I can't believe I hadn't read anything about this problem. I'm not always in this thread, but I'm in here enough I should have heard about a game breaking problem.

It's hardly game breaking (though the game in general isn't as well polished in any area compared to MW3) and I completely disagree that it doesn't reward teamwork. If I revive a team mate, we don't lose that ticket and can take that objective. Somewhere like Metro, I can hang back and provide cover with an LMG whilst dropping ammo crates and provide ammo for the other 11 players.

I don't see the issue in creating two separate squads outside of PSN, go in to Server Browser, find a server with very few people, tell the other squad what server to join and bingo, may take another round of switch team, but you should get there. Sure, it could be better and it is naff, but there is a workaround.

I just didn't expect to have to use workarounds to be able to play with my team, in a game that rewards playing as a team. It's also really hard to find rooms with 10 empty slots. Last night we tried to play for an hour before it finally let us all in a game together, one of us would always get the unable to connect to server message, and then it took 3 rounds before we got onto the same team. It's just really frustrating. It amazes me that COD is the only game that can get the party aspect fo the game right. You would think that getting large amounts of friends into the game easily would be a no brainer when making a large multiplayer FPS.

For us it is a game breaker if we all can't play together. The only reason the 8 or 9 of us bought this game was to be able to play something besides COD together. If we can't get it to work easily we will (as bad as I hate to say it) go back to cod so we can play together.

When I talk about playing as a team, I mean playing with the same people everytime and have roles setup for individuals, to do each time. That way we work as a team and can coordinate our attacks
