Well that was the problem, early on stingers 1 shotted vehicles and nobody had flares so they nerfed it and now it requires a couple to take something down and everyone has flares. Choppers are only really OP in Rush though, I only play CQ where they are much less of a problem outside of spawn killing where an AA gun is usually placed now. Engineers shouldn't really be able to stop an aircraft without support (even if it's another engineer or 2) or those aircraft will become pointless in CQ where you won't be able to find 1 or 2 engineers in the midst of a huge map.
PatrickYes, and I believe no one can lock onto you for 10 seconds, but you're vulnerable for 4 seconds while it "recharges".
Has anyone had success with Rocket Pods on Jets? I'm having trouble hitting others, and I think it's supposed to be more for air to ground combat.
I found its still sometimes better to use the main gun than heatseekers on the jet.
BLITZ_69I've seen people go to town with the rocket pods, but I've been able to kill absolutely nothing with them. I've had strafing runs on tanks where I got plenty of hits, but not even a disable.
