Just got premium! :D

CQ is still downloading, I had a panicky moment when I couldn't join any CQ servers and realised I hadn't downloaded it from the in-game store! :lol:

EDIT: I pay £40 for premium and then my 🤬 4 month old 🤬 slim can't even install CQ without freezing... :mad:

You start the download from in game, exit the game cancel it and go restart it from the PSN store
 
I'm really getting tired of this game freezing. I had no problems before this latest patch. My game froze again as I was getting the final kill in a Hugh ticket tdm. Robbed me of my MVP ribbon. As much as I love this game this things start to wear me down.
 
Just bought BF-Premium and downloaded CQC im glad im still online because PSN got maintenance so all who is still online can stay online. :)

Well I'm at work today but I don't understand why they maintenance on weekends? Why not middle of the night Monday or Tuesday?
 
Speedy, have you tried deleting the cache? I cleared my browser history, search history and cache and have not been experiencing any freezing. Aside from issues I had while trying to get the dlc working. I played for about ten hours between Thursday and Friday night and froze up once. Two tanks were exploding, a little bird was guns a blazing along with lots of gunfire/RPG. Wish I had a picture of the frozen screen. It looked awesome!

Go few pages backwards and you see that this is in this thread allready. And i think everyone know that it will be the biggest map in BF history.

Just unlocked the MTAR-21 and got my ACW-R service star, I'm really struggling to get my last three grenade kills for the SCAR-L though because no one sits around waiting for it to go off...

Oh yeah well last night I got 95 kills with various guns in one match :)

Well it was max ticket Metro Conquest...:lol:

I'm really liking gun master but I really wish they had a mode similar to COD or CS where it was free for all with less players and a bit smaller map. It's good how it is but I think it's better FFA.

I've only unlocked 3 guns but I've been playing too much gun master to unlock them. I also got the Life Saver assignment/dog tag.
 
If you're always looking around and can't see any people to kill in GM, then go straight to the dead teammates indicator 'cause that's where someone on your team just died. So there'd be an enemy there.
 
Just played GM and won! :) It was really interesting game mode but i propably wont play it too much.

Oh I know that I've won it a few times now but I just liked the constant action and pace of FFA more than the team mode BF has.

No but your about the 4th person to post about it. When posting "news" in any thread especially bigger ones just flip through the last 2 or so pages and scan for what your about to say.
 
Just got in a miniature sniper war with some level 30 guy on Operation Firestorm. He sniped me from the crane across the street from the Bravo base, so I decided I'd use the JNG for the first time. After I sniped him off the crane he respawned with his beacon and decided to climb the mountain I was on (the one in front of the US base closer to A), but luckily someone spotted him and I killed him again. In his next life he got a jet and tried to kamikaze me with it and still missed!! :lol:
 
Yeah, it can be up to five minutes (OK, not really) before I find another enemy that hasn't died yet :dunce:
 
I just got a load of C4 kills and I suspect the game hasn't registered them... I think I might have been on 9 out of 10 for the LSAT because I was going crazy just C4ing everything. Also the PP19 is amazing, I had forgotten how much I like that gun.

One of my C4 kills was on a guy who was revived, and he continued to camp where he was before so I just came back and did it again. Another one was against a mobile AA, the guy had nearly killed me but drove quite close to my cover so I ran out and stuck a C4 on him, he hopped out almost instantly so I blew it and killed myself (he was going to kill me with a single shot anyway) and him, it felt so good to pull that one off. However, I got disconnected and last time this happened I never got the battle report and never got the carbine kills I'd gotten in the previous round... I mean it's not a big deal, but if it happens when I get some grenade kills I'll be quite upset because they're not very forthcoming right now. Maybe I need to play Bazaar SQDM again or something... Urgh.
 
Easy way to get C4 kills: Play Domination capture flag wait someone to try to get it detonate.

[Edit]: Unlocked AUG: HOLY CRAP! Its so accurat and easy way to kill enemies.
 
Ok, is it me, or does the H-bar for the Scar-L not do anything? Usually I kill a lot more quickly due to the upped accuracy, but all it seems to do is raise the recoil a bit. :boggled:

Got my C4 kills, they counted from the game I was disconnected from and I only needed one more. I got it from a tank driver who I suspected of hacking, which was nice, but it did also lead to my worst ever round in a Battlefield game! What I really need a tip for is grenade kills, I managed to get 12 out 15 quite quickly but I've completely forgotten how so the last three just aren't happening. I don't really want to wait until Monday to go grenade spamming on the CQ maps (because I'm a gamer so I'm extremely impatient) so I guess I might have to be a support with the grenade spec and go find a meatgrinder map to spam. Urgh.

Edit: So I went and did just that and got my three grenade kills in about 5 minutes. I think that's what I was doing before... Only thing is I was disconnected again so I have no idea if they'll count, the battle report system seems to have changed because before Monday I'd always, always without fail get a report and my stuff would count if I waited, now sometimes I don't get a report and things don't count, sometimes I don't get a report and stuff counts even without waiting and the rest of the time I get a report and my stuff.

They will count. :D , in my experience things carried out towards assignments will always count when disconnected.

everything unlocked, can just concentrate now instead of chasing assignments.

They should but they might not, I had a load of carbine kills earlier that should've counted but didn't... Oh, they didn't register! No battle report, the server has changed maps, no SCAR-L and two grenade kills left. Well it was easy enough so I guess I'll just go back there now. I do hate waiting around for reports though.

I think maybe kills, SPM, K/D might not save. But as i said, things you've dont towards achievements do.
Atleast for me anyway. But i dont see why that would be different for you, or anyone else.

I don't know either but they're not counting as I know they should. That's the second time today that I didn't get a battle report, so I suppose the game just never registered that I was even playing. I definitely unlocked the SCAR-L, it popped up and everything but if you go and look at my assignments page you'll see that I don't have it yet... I just went back to the same server, got one grenade kill (the population has halved since I was last there so it's not at all crazy) and got disconnected again. Hopefully that one will count, it hasn't registered yet but I'll wait and see what happens when the battle report is in.

Edit: Hmm, that's odd. I got the report for the last game I played and I should've been one grenade short of the SCAR-L, but for some reason my assignments page now says it is unlocked... But if you look at my profile, my recent games doesn't show a game on Metro (which is where I got the two grenades that I thought didn't count) and the timeline doesn't show the SCAR-L being unlocked. So I was wrong, the kills did count, but were delayed so I had assumed they hadn't. Still, I'm not complaining!

I just ventured into this subforum for the first time... I've been missing out lol.

I've spent over 100 hours on this game and have loved almost every minute of it... except for when the campaign quit working for me two hours after I got it on a brand-new Xbox. Right now I'm at level 45 (Colonel) but after one really good CQ match on Op. Firestorm with the F-18 I'm close to 46 (Colonel star 1). Just bought Premium for the discount on the DLCs.

I'll be spending lots of time here now. Good info in this thread :cheers:

I don't like gun master at all. I played on a GM/DOM/TDM rotation for the past several hours. I can't get any kills with the M320 and the MK3 shotgun is terrible.

Otherwise I found a new love for the PP19. Not sure why I hadn't used it before.
