Don't forget C flag on Seine Crossing where you usually spawn in that little corridor with your back to the enemy (if they have A). Who ever thought that would be a good place to spawn is an absolute cretin.

TDM on Seine always ends up with a massive firefight at that one alleyway and open lot with the deck that has the ladders. Usually for the whole match.

True but the problem is just magnified 10 fold on these maps.

32 players is way too many. I would imagine the 24 max on console is about as many players as you would want on this map pack.

I haven't played on a 64 player (if that is even available) but I can just imagine spawning and instantly dying probably 3/4 of the time.

It has been out for PC for less than 12 hours and everyone is figuring out where the "random" spawns are and camping them out now. I can't say I am innocent of this. DICE needs to work on spawning; it isn't a "random" spawn if I can figure out the general area a team is going to spawn. The only alternative would to be to take a gamble on spawning on a team mate and hope you don't spawn into gun fire or an explosive. Chances are not good of that on maps these small.

I hope that post is sarcastic, it's not like claymores are put all over every map so you have to expect them everywhere. I always, ALWAYS, crouch walk up stairs on Seine Crossing to keep me off T-UGS and claymores become stupid :lol:. Any tight corner on a main route is worth a quick crouch walk around in my book.

6 inches of steel, a serrated edge, and a hook to pull out your intestines after I slide it into your abdomen. I guarantee you if I pulled that out on the street you would be intimidated. That looks nothing like a box cutter. That is nastier looking than the KA-BAR's Marines are issued.

That's true. A while back I was playing Rush on Metro and some kid was perched on the 2nd level of a building and was trying to mow people down from there. I walk up the stairs, spotted his claymores, then crouched past them and went up to knife him. Then he tried to report me for hacking :lol:

When I originally made a statement I was referring to the CQ maps which were filled with TUGS and MAVs. Several matches this morning involved the maps spammed with them resulting in being picked up on the enemy's radar nearly 100% of the time.

So, no. I do not have the time or patience to crouch walk through an entire map.

Also, your first sentence reminded me of that episode of Battle Friends when the noob thought he had 1000 claymores all over the map LOL.

Yeah it was 6pm UK time. Nothing too major, just a competition to win Premium (three codes to give away).
 
It would be cool if you could get your parachute caught on things, then you could actually use the Gut Hook for its intended purpose (I doubt we will be skinning enemies anytime soon). I wouldn't actually want to directly stab anything with a knife that had a hook on it, it will just make it really hard to get back out haha

He was in no way intending a threat on YOU.
He did say you would be scared if he pulled that on the street. He did not day he would pull that on you if he sees you.

I would be scared if that knife was pulled on me. Much much more so than if someone pulled a box cutter on me.
I believe that was the intent of zoo's post. It also follows along with the conversation about how intimidating the acb is.

Lighten up man. This is a thread about a game about killing people after all.

It's a knife in a video game. You need to chill out.

No one implied they were "tough" or intended to take your guts out. I, and the rest of the world, are not secretly out to get you. We're not plotting your demise with a video game knife.

If you find it inappropriate please alert the mod staff. I am sure they will have a good laugh about how you were offended with that statement.

IF they deem it as inappropriate then I am sure it will be edited. Otherwise, it is not being changed.

EA listed the price of the Premium service, which grants the user early access to DLC and other features, as AU$49.99 on their websites, but proceeded to charge PlayStation 3 users AU$79.95. Likewise, Xbox 360 users were charged 4,000 Microsoft Points; the equivalent of AU$66.

Thousands of complaints poured into the Battlefield forums and forced EA to drop the price of the PlayStation 3 version to a more reasonable AU$64.95 but in doing so has put Xbox 360 users at a disadvantage. To even be able to buy the Premium service on Battlefield 3, Xbox 360 users need to purchase an “Xbox Live Gold” subscription, which costs around AU$79.95 per year.

Battlefield 3 Gets Another Double XP Weekend(June 16-17)

Wow that's some heavy gouging.

Don't see why you would even be considering purchasing premium if you don't have LIVE Gold. That's a moot point.
 
Zoo: I'm sure the tugs issue will go away soon as everyone will be wrapping up that assignment. And then ramp up again once all the non premiums ( or is that a Prem.only assignment?) Have access to the new maps.

Anyway yeah the TUGS and rocket spamming right now are a little out of control. The thing that sucks is this just the premium guys doing it, what happens when everybody can buy it? Going to be a while before it settles down I think.

I haven't had time to turn on the Xbox yet today, so hearing about the rocket spammers is a bit disappointing. I'm just so glad they nerfed the USAS-12 with the frag rounds before they released these maps :lol:

EDIT: I just realized when this one says double everything that i didn't get double everything last time. You know when you were done, it said additional points? I've have a 12k round and only get 2k additional points. I should have 24k total. Ah well.
 
Maybe wherever that user and the users who are justifying his sayings are from, it’s acceptable to make those kinds of statements; but where I’m from when one puts the word “you” into their sentence, then they are referring to said person directly.
And since there are no guts or any other gore-like animation in BF3, it’s clear that it was not just about in-game.
If it was meant to prove a point, it was a very poor choice of words and further mocking with ‘generosity’ is a half-witted and insulting thing to do to someone who’s already offended.

How do you handle half.the stuff that comes from players over voice chat in games?

Zoo 's statement would have been pretty strange if it read
Someone pulls that knife out on someone in the streets and stabs that someone, the someone who got stabbed will have his/ her guts ripped out by that hook when the first someone removes it from the stabbed someone.
Or person a/ person b etc.

The word you is a blanket term in this case. Would.it have been better if zoo used "you" instead of you?

But anywho....

I like the new knife. It looks vicious in the animation.
I knifed a person as soon as the animation of them knifing a teammate was over. I hope my teammate got a smile when he watched his kill cam.


Yes I believe double XP is this weekend. Another double XP weekend I wont be getting much playtime.with :(.

Ah, I forgot about that assignment. I completed it before the maps came out. Hopefully usage will go down in a couple days.



And I will be missing Double XP as well. Moving on Saturday/Sunday and won't have Internet until Monday. What a bunch of crap lol.
