Just used the Famas with a 6x magnification scope.

Used the G3A3 with that and the ACOG on Alborz, ended up taking out three snipers at the Radar station from Base Camp :D

 
I was robbed!

Playing Conquest on Oman and me and a squad mate were doing a number on the enemy in a tank. Though he was in the third seat designating targets the jets and choppers would pop flares and I would lose the lock but they were still foolish enough to hang around. Using the tank cannon I brought down two jets and four choppers. It is sweet satisfaction to take aim with that big cannon and snipe a moving chopper full of soldiers. "Enemy killed, enemy killed, double kill, vehicle destroyed, enemy killed, triple kill, enemy killed, multikill" rolled up the bottom of my screen on several occasions.

And then, as the game was winding down and I was aiming to claim MVP, I had just blown up a LAV in grand fashion when my PS3 froze.

We won the game by 545 tickets but I get a loss.

Still got highest awarded, though. Funny how this game works.
 
I downloaded the new Armored Kill maps but have not played them yet. I have been too hooked on Borderlands 2. haha

But I will check out the new maps tonight or this coming weekend.

Yup yup.

Just keep tabs on the status of it as far as DICE and Punk buster are concerned.

The tool allows you to modify weapons characteristics (ADS time, damage, etc...). Which wasn't a good call on the guy who programmed it (it could easily have been left out), but since everything is processed client–side, this could introduce a whole new level of cheating on PC.

Hopefully, in the future they will ban any weapons modifications but allow visual tweaks such as removing the console blue filter. Either way, DICE/PB will be releasing a patch for this in the coming weeks so stay informed if you use it.

The L85A2 Assignment will be pretty easy. If my current headshot pace with the L85A2 is any indication, then I will need another 208 kills for 50 more headshots. The problem is I do not tend to use one weapon for that long at a time.

I doubt I will finish the MTAR-21 Assignment. After killing one person with the EOD Bot to unlock the MTAR-21, I have all but sworn off that stupid gadget. Finding ten pieces of enemy equipment and having the useless EOD Bot in my inventory would not be a fun experience.

Twenty five more mortar kills . . . two mortar kills for the last challenge was enough of a pain. I guess at least mortars are not quite as weak when the first Assignment came out. The other two LSAT objectives will come in the flow of games.

One hundred more SKS kills and 15 Accuracy Ribbons will not be bad. Twenty-five assists with the laser designator will be very hit and miss. I have had a few games where I end up with maybe a few designation assists and other games where the enemy team destroys my SOFLAM as soon as the gadget is deployed.

The UMP-45 Assignment could be fun. Nothing difficult about the Assignment. It will increase the number of kills I have with the UMP-45 by about 300%. Much like the L85A2, the problem is I do not tend to use one weapon for that long at a time.
 
Looking at the new assignments, I won't be going out of my way to get any of them. If they come along via normal play so be it.

Wait, those are the camos that I've been using since AK came out.. does that mean they are now "locked"? That sucks, I thought we were getting a freebee.
 
Iv'e stopped playing for a bit as im rather i'll, But i'll look forward to working on these when i get back.

I imagine the Burkut L85A2 will look quite good.
 
Not that I play Rush, but I can just imagine the Mortar spammathons about to envelope Seine and Bazaar...
 
Use the MK3A1 with frag rounds.



No, I haven't gone crazy, I mean it. Equip the MK3A1 with frag rounds. Do it right now.
What you need to do then is play Conquest domination on scrapmetal and try and keep A and B safe.
While you're trying to keep A and B safe (which will not be easy if you're alone as you're using the MK3A1 with frag rounds) there will be times when there are enemies on C. As soon as you see this run to the bridge connecting the roof on which the A flag is on and the building that B is in. Now this is when the auto-frag shotgun comes in handy as you can wipe out groups of enemies on C through the glass windows.
If you do manage to do this when there's a group of enemies there with possible medics I can promise:

-Lots and lots of :lol:
-Lots and lots of points for killing enemies.
-Lots and lots of flag defend points.
-Lots and lots of trolling satisfaction.


It could also work with the USAS-12 or perhaps other shotguns, but for maximum trolling satisfaction a fully auto shotgun is needed.
 
Clanmate and i were ttolling another clan while in a tank last night.
Gulf of oman conquest i went 25/2 and he was right around there as well.
One of my 2 deaths was a bad luck when i jumped out of our tank to repair it. Boom bad luck......
Got 2 quadruple kills blasting full transports and several doubles killing attack choppers.
Some guided, some man cannon shots.
Awesome round!
 
I played one game on Scrapmetal last night. I was using the UMP-45 and not doing particularly well. I had died multiple times to a USAS-12. Since I was quickly tiring of death by USAS-12, I switched to the USAS-12 and ended the round in a much better fashion.
 
Finally played a game of Armored Kill last night. My friend set up the game so it was some tank assult mode I think. Had 1 objective and no air vehicles. The other team was amazing and our team got destroyed. I think my friend and I were the only ones actually trying for the objective. Ouch. So my first experience was a bit rough. Probably try some more rounds this week or weekend.
 
I didnt like it much either but again, it was only my first time. I prefer conquest but it never hurst to at least try something new.
 
I think they should tweak it slightly and it could be better, because at the moment the number of Tank Destroyers outnumber the number of tanks and I think that it should be the other way around.
 
Randomly moving the objective around the map would be nice. Forcing both sides to move to different areas could lead to some interesting engagements.

This idea is glorious. Might actually feel properly like a battle, with both sides mobilizing towards a moving point. We need this, now.

Caz, just got off the phone with AT&T. Took over an hour, but I now have four times my previous Internet speed. Should only take two hours to download the update now instead of 8. :D
