How the heck did you get a kill with the M1 Abrams on Metro? :dunce:

Ya, I saw that and wondered the same thing. There was no tank on Metro and if there was I wasn't driving it. I blew up a couple MAVs and Spawn beacons which were my vehicle destroys I think but I have no idea about the tank. I mean, I really love tanking, but can't fit one in the subway.

Would be a strange new feature; "I'll pull out my MAV, then run someone over and they'll belive it was an Abrams." :p
 
I have a question about BF3. Is there still loads if campers (asuming you know what that means) in this game. I played it constantly, took a week off to play GT5 then went back to BF3 and i couldnt find anybody, my team were all hiding and i was always being picked off my someone who was camping :( so have they all gone back to what ever game they came from or are they still in BF3?

Sniping campers yes but mostly people PTO from what I have seen.

Right ok. I can deal with camping snipers easily as i am an aggressive recon player (assuming you know what that is) but it was just everyone who wasnt playing properly like i was (Playing the objective) they were camping, mostly with the 870MCS, USAS-12, M16A4, M16A3, SKS, AEK-971 (i think this gun needs nerfed a little) and the AN-94
Until people stop camping and start to play the objective properly i wont bother buying BF3 again

This is really strange. I said a few days ago that I thought the L86 lacked the punch I needed but now I have fallen in love with the L85. On paper surely the L86 is a better gun?

Maybe it's because you were comparing the L86 to belt fed high damage LMGs, but the L85 isn't at a disadvantage to any other rifle when it comes to bullet damage. I love the L85. I like the L86 as well, but if I were given the choice between those two with the same class (which I'm obviously not, just saying) I'd pick the L85 every time.

I compared the two after thinking the L85 was great and still came to the conclusion the L85 is better.
 
I just started mastering the recon weapons, so far I have 2 out of 11 weapons mastered. I decided to start with the Bolt action rifles because those are the hardest to get kills, I have been trying to get them all in TDM but damn the best I can get is 30 per match, oh well at least I only have 3 more to finish. :sly:

The L85 is the better of the two in more situations. Assault rifles are much more versatile than LMGs. The L86 has greater spread than the L85 and is likely the reason you notice a difference between the two.

The thing is you do not even need to use the XBow to unlock the other bolts. The other three are unlocked via a variety of weapons or gadgets.
 
Not sure what you expected the challenges to be, but to call it an "epic fail" is ridiculous.

Also, my entire squad got kicked from a server not too long ago. Looks like we got kicked so the other team could win.
 
^ I didnt call the challenges an Epic Fail... the fact that I didnt realize what the challenges were (let alone them being there) is an EPIC FAIL

Gah! Was playing a big ticket on Seine TDM and I was going for kills with a bunch of guns that were close to unlocking different attatchments. I probably unlocked at least 8 before freezing in the Customize Soldier screen

The first game I played yesterday, I lasted about 90 seconds. Parachuted onto the large warehouse at B on Firestorm. Threw some C4 down onto the ground, and got kicked after detonating it. Saved me from a death since I was getting shot at as I got kicked.

Had no idea there was a rule against C4. :lol:
