Things like that happened in Bad Company 1, and there was no hardcore/no hardcore mode. So many teammates would blow up the howitzer just so they could get it.

Irrelevant really, I don't play BC, And still, Just because it happened in another game doesn't mean its right.

Has anyone thought of using the Noob Tube or Mortar to mark out targets for air support? We should try that out sometime :D

I'm seen multiple times in movies and other videogames where the main characters throw smoke to designated either target areas or LZs. I'm thinking, that with enough teamwork (i.e. a Mortar or Assault /w M203 Smoke) to chuck smoke down where there are enemies, and either friendly Jet or Chopper can fire in that area. It would seem to be better than just spotting since even when my squaddies spot, I can't always see the Doritos :indiff:

Actually yes. And when you work together it becomes a great and efficient tactic.

Me and my friends use smoke for this sometimes and also we use it for other things.

Smoke really comes in handy to get passed Alfa to Bravo and down the escalators at Bravo on Operation Metro. But on big maps such as Operation fire storm the person with the mortar is a easy target for snipers. You have to find the right place to set it up to be able to mark the spot.

I'll have to try it out next time I'm on then 👍.

Just finished a knife-only game at Métro on my Platoon's server. It was actually really fun! Ended up with almost 50 kills, a Knife SS, the Melee Medal and over 20 ribbons

Smoke isn't really a necessity thanks to being able to spot. I imagine people who co-ordinate use mics anyway and if you were trying to mark targets with smoke for a random in a jet or chopper they almost definitely wouldn't get it!

And for guided weapons you can always use the SOFLAM, as soon as a target is lased you usually get every guided weapon on the server trying to lock on. Problem is no one seems to use laser guided weapons any more, I STILL haven't gotten my scan bolt...

Never said it was right. As long as "friendly fire" is active in an online shooter, people will take advantage of it.

What advantage is there to doing it? Other than to be a complete douche.

Been using the M320 a lot lately for the hell of it. Seems to lack a lot of stopping power. at least as far as splash damage is concerned.

Yeah i don't like the M320.

I use the AN-94 so i get the GP-30 and it seems better. Plus the AN-94 is amazing so i am not complaining

I think the downfall is the slow rate of fire.

Well yeah but the thing about it I like guns like that. Specially I don't like guns that don't have single/burst/auto firing modes. So it works out for me to have a gun like that.

Just to be a douche is all it's for.

That's when it's fun.

That's the reason last game of the night is metro with a MAV Hahahaha

That's why you use the burst option. If you tap it fast enough and at the right time your shooting more then 1000 rounds a minute.. the AN-94 is very unique very good rifle in battlefield.

My thing is I cannot stand burst fire though.

I got kicked today from a server by playing fairly, but the admin who kicked me sent a abusive message. Along with that he called me a base raper a minutes later, when in fact such a thing did not happen.

Closing Thoughts:

I wouldn't of been kicked, if I kept killing him in his tank with a Sukhoi Su-35 on A or B flag.

Just report him. They don't like hearing about abusive admins and usually ban them.

Just goes to show what's wrong with BF's playerbase these days then doesn't it. Playing the game not to have fun playing it, But to just stop others from having fun. Their just so sad, And to be fair, Just need to grow up.

I've been having such fun these past few days playing HC rush on the 360. Playing the 'Joker's Madhouse' servers where mics and team chat are mandatory. All great games with people who work together and play the objective.

Made me remember how addictive BF3 can be when you're in a good game.
