I can't control that. Regardless it doesn't speed up the download process if someones not on it. I don't have a fibre optic connection, it's DSL like. Runs through the phone line. Can't afford to dump $5,000-$7,000 for a fibre optic cable to be run a few hundred yards just for a faster connection. This is sufficient enough for him.

Sorry that im laughing, but speedtest isn't a very reliable source when it comes to actual download speed.

I get around 25 mb/s on both download and upload with fibre optic, but I got split connection with the other person renting where I live (25 each).
But I "only" get 4-4.5 mb/s actually.

Test it on Steam/Origin on any games (if you have) to see what kinds of speed you get.

But it's not that important though, was just curious.

I get the same figure on my phones wifi function aswell, And to be honest, why enquire if when I offer to show proof you just "LOL" and disregard it. I don't play PC so I can't try on steam Etc.

I just waited 4 hours downloading this and then I go to instal it and it fails to install, says it's corrupt. WTF

Considering the game has only been out since 2011, I highly doubt someone has compiled over 42 years of game time :lol:.

Sorry for the late reply and I don't know if anybody already let you know, but its a glitch and I think it covers the minutes played even though it says 'hours'
 
'Bout 15 mins for patch, 11 for DLC, 7 min install.

EDIT: ^^ Yeah, I know. I'm just implying how ridiculous it seems.
 
Redownloading. This one better work or I'm going to have a few choice words with Sony.
 
This was the first install the went smoothly for me on bf3.
Slash, i have had that same problem on every map so far.

I was super lucky with this patch and expansion pack. It took only 35 minutes for me to get both. usually the servers are overloaded on day 1 and it doesn't matter how fast your internet is. But yesterday I got lucky I guess.
 
I'm undecided if I like End Game. I've played all the modes and spent a couple of hours doing so. Is it just me or are the textures in this DLC the worst looking of the lot. I imagine Air Superiority will be fun for good pilots (which I'm not).
Capture the Flag isn't bad, I'm warming to it.
I think I'll need to give a week or two of playing it to fully decide.

1. Original Maps
2. Aftermath
3. Back to Karkand
4. Armoured Kill
5. End Game
6. Close Quarters

Fixed that.
 
The dirtbike is great. Use it with skill and you can outflank almost anyone.


Still struggling to find what the benefit of doing a wheelie is.

No need. Take the bike and rush past the tank. If the tank spots you, you are fast enough to get away before it shoots as you can just run circles round it to make sure that it doesn't face its barrel to you and if it doesn't get off c4 the tank then bike away.

Touché, on that note, a two man c4 team could do some great flyby destruction!

Oooohhhhh no you were not. Last night me and three others made our games lag. We had 4 cycles each strapped with C4 hitting the tank at all 4 corners. Let's just say the guy was dominated hahaha.


But i am hating my first attempt at playing CTF was on a hardcore no map server and had no idea where to drop off the flag. So yeah i lost my first change in the game to capture it. But besides that I am liking it. It is a challenge to actually play it.

Ive done it, Its very effective.

I loved that game.

Will I be getting Endgame? Nope.

Might I start playing AM now that all the 100 star colonels will go squad up in Endgame? Yep.
