Nice. I get some really lucky shots. Most of the helicopters I shoot down they fly too low and then I blow them out of the sky. If you ever hear someone saying "come on just fly a little lower you know you want to be dumb come on and do it", it might be me you hear hahaha.
 
It seems like these new maps encourage people to fly lower than usual, just the other night I got a SMAW kill against a scout chopper and a few of you guys are saying you've been getting some unguided weapon kills on them too. In the same round I also managed to kill a scout chopper pilot with my suppressed pistol (is it the MP443? The default semi-auto 9mm for the RU side)... The only other time I killed a chopper pilot with a pistol was with a lucky .44 shot after hitting him once with a sniper rifle. The guy was so close to me his minigun rounds were going either side of me, I probably could've knifed him come to think of it.

This too.

Last night on CTF. There was a chopper flying around our flag and kept flying slow and low. Next time I spawned I got my spas12 shotgun with my usual frag rounds and 4x zoom. I took one shot free hand didn't even look down the site and shot one shot and missed then shot another and took out the pilot. Pretty epic.

Then a couple nights ago I got killed two times on the railroad CTF map. This guy who was literally amazing pilot. I mean this guy had to be the best pilot in have ever seen. Well he ran me over a two times with the chopper while I was trying to use the stinger. The next time I got my RPG out and hot his attention and he swooped down and tried it again and I shot and blew him and his gunner down.

But with this said on these maps and on maps like canals (while I am on the Russian side) I am usually shooting the choppers down. If they fly low and try to circle you on any map and i am in a tank i usually shoot them down (i would say about 60-70 percent of the time)

Just reinforced how much I hate random games with unknowns, though. Also I'm fairly certain there was a hacker, I got C4'd seconds after landing in an LAV. I mean there wasn't even enough time to drop the C4, much less move far enough away from me to survive the explosion.
 
Is anyone else having "problem" with the Battlefeed?

Im getting this up on the news feed, where it normally says what your friends has done lately etc etc...

It's never been like this before, never had an issue with it.

Whenever I have good game on Metro my Xbox freezes out of spite, I've decided. It doesn't happen on any other map *knocks on wood* and it only happens on one of those rare occasions when I'm having fun with a great team :grumpy:

Just got a new controller finally. Now I can set my bi-pod up without my controller walking forward.
 
I just had my first match in CTF. HAD FUN! AS however, was a constant pain in the neck! I could only get 6 or so kills, we only had 5 players on our team v. 12 in the other. And these guys were like sharks.... they all picked a target and went for it. I made the mistake of chasing one of them, only to find my self IN the pack. I was shot down shortly after. Then I switched to CTF. The dirtbike is fun, but, I spent most of my time flying the Little bird to-and-from our base capping flags and escorting carriers/ flying carriers over.

Overall impression, not bad...
 
It's better to stay out of the massive pile of jets and pick the right time to strike. Just going for objectives can net you a ton of points.

This. I've learned that staying low and sneaking (as best as you can) towards the objectives while everyone else is in a heatseaker 🤬 storm is the best way to do well in AS, assuming you don't care about kills.

Did that as well.. but when you have 5 teammates and the enemy knows they've killed 4, they start looking for you...
 
In AS, I came second on my team with absolutely no kills and 8 deaths. I suck at dogfights, I really cannot be bothered with them, so I just capped, er, balloons for... 2200 points. Still, everyone on my team sucked.
 
Not sure if this has been posted, 18+ levels of gameplay here. You'll need some time to digest what you're about to witness.
 
Man, I so want to try that dirt bike launch, looks like fun... I haven't played any CTF yet besides one game I joined near the end, I've played a bit of CQL though and I think these maps are up there with the best of them. I'm not sure I've played them all though. I really like the AA car and passengering on a dirt bike with an AA launcher is pretty damn awesome too, I've been getting quite a few more kills with the Stinger and Strela (can't remember what it's actually called) because of that.

I find I do really want to get into BF3 more than I have been and play all of the maps a lot rather than a few regulars, but as it is I play it for maybe a couple of weeks every time a DLC comes out, have a particularly bad game and drop it again. I don't really know why though, I guess it's the weight of all the other games I have yet to play...

BF3 is going ok today. Got the S-Tac and finished off the Rambo assignments :D

Nice. It is a ok gun.

I have figured out a few days ago that my favorite vehicle in CTF is that Rocket truck. I have been getting really good with the four RPGs/rockets that you can shoot.
