Is it possible to put C4 on a friendly MAV?

Seems like it could be a good trolling tactic if you were communicating with someone.

It used to be, but I think they patched that out. In Bad Company 2 you could put C4 on the UAV and destroy MCOMs (or whatever they used in BC2) in one hit with them...

Nice to finally have confirmation that us BF3 premium users will get access to the BF4 beta. As seen at the end of the last premium video released yesterday.

Here it is if you havnt seen it yet or not premium.

Stoked! bf3 premium has been more than worth it :)

Can anyone recommend a cheap graphics card to run bf3 on ultra or at least high at a decent frame rate as an upgrade from a GTX550ti? It runs really well on Medium but after watching that trailer im keen to step it up a bit!

Define your "cheap". BF3 is one of the most demanding games and a video card that can run good on ultra would most likely be 220+ USD...

Yea I mean the cheapest card to run on ultra, don't have a specific budget but I don't want to spend a lot.

At a guess I'd say a GTX 660Ti would run BF3 on Ultra at around 60fps, maybe 55fps on average. But that's a complete guess, so.

Some good games tonigh gatrs and mike.

Yea, it was a lot of fun. I got into a bit of a mano-a-mano battle with one guy from the other team.

I got him about 6 times at Metro in the building opposite from the white van at A, and then he got my tags and T-bagged me after sneaking past a claymore, so it was on from there. The highlight was at Markaz - I spawned to deployment and he arrived in a chopper to steal our Little Bird. I saw his intention but only had a M320 on me and was too far from him to stop him directly.

As he took off in the LB, I grenade launched it, disabling it, but he MG killed me and in the kill cam I could see him land and repair it. I respawned just as he took off and thought he had won the battle, but decided to send off a Hail Mary grenade launcher with a crazy deflection...... and scored a direct hit about 3-4 seconds after I popped it - he must have flown straight into it. He quit straight afterwards. :D

I dont know about you guys, but, I have this tendency to hunt down a player after he took my tags, or keeps killing me.

For example, I was playing SQDM on Grand Bazaar. I joined a squad which had some good communication and teamwork. As usual, I didn't have my mic :(

We slowly creep into the hallway (if you want to call it that) only to be taken out by a sniper shooting from inside the bus. I revive my teammate, pop my head out to see where he was, only to get it blown off. I get revived and a couple of bursts from my M16A3, and he's down.

The bugger returns and goes in the same spot. Shoots but misses, grazing my head. I crouch and have at it before he can shoot again. My teammates realized what I was doing and suppresed him. Went up close and took him out.

Now, the same sniper takes up his position behind the bus, behind some crumbled wall and shoots again. This time nails me while Im in the alley (found the word for it). Frustrated, I start flanking through the adjacent pathways only to be confronted by a squad. Each path I took had a squad. I realised my squad was boxed in. So the next time I died, I spawned in a random place. I spawned close to the sniper's position. Check the bus, not there. Look towards the wall, tracer round goes off.

I start creeping towards him, then ran around the corner to knife him. Knife animation starts, but disrupted by his silenced M9 (complete BS). I spawn at the same spot as before, this time I try to flank around the buildings. This bugger was smart, because there was no flanking position from his left. The only the way was through the street hugging the wall. Little bigger had a friend though... on overwatch towards the street. I start firing at him, but miss completely. Bugger comes around the corner and nails me in the head.

Spawn again (same spot). His friend was not on overwatch anymore. I creep in hugging the wall. I see his barrel is sticking out. I look up, and he is set up with a bipod and zoomed in. Perfect chance. I run around, go.for the knife kill, and his medic takes me out.

At this point Im pissed off and on the verge of Mortaring/C4-ing everyone. I try again, go to his position, get taken out by his squad (I got distracted, too many targets at once). Tried again, this time running full speed. Turn around the corner, and there he is running towards the wall to set up again. I take my QBB-95 and "pump him full of lead". At last a glorious T-bag was achieved! Oh, but it's not over. I hear a spawn beacon somewhere, so I wait, and sure enough, there he is. Easy kill, and T-bag. Go around the corner, and his old buddy is on overwatch on the cat-walk. Crouch and hide behind the wall. Flank from his left, hop the concrete blocks, cross the street, and sweet revenge with a knife kill.

My squad was.trying to battle it out, but they were slowly dying. I ran towards them, going from the left of the alley. My teammates were havily suppressed, and I come charging in there like Rambo (but with a silenced LMG) and start taking out the enemy one by one. 75 bullets gone in under 3 seconds. 2 enemy squads wiped out, and yet we still lost.

New match was in Op. Firestorm. I enter the battlefield early, and wait for the match to begin. The second the battle started, guess who kills me? That's right,.that bloody sniper! I guess he was behind me, or something. That was an instant rage quit moment, but I stuck around. Hunting him down again. This time Im also sniping. In the end the match boiled down to my squad and I sniping from the crane.

Talk about karma!

If anyone's interested, there's a Reddit event called **** Around Fridays and it's happening now. It's a bunch of different 'custom' game modes such as Battlefield 1861 (iron sight snipers only) or Torches and Paddles (debis and torches only). it's quite fun :D

I just wanna give a big shout out to those players who have an IQ over 5, since it seems like a rarity these days. Anyway, i'm playing rush on Strike At Karkand, were at the second set of M-COMS and were attacking. I hop into a tank (in to the gunners seat) and I see two enemy players. I shoot them (dont kill them though) and my tank driver just stops.

Now, after 2 minutes of waiting, he sends me a message saying 'get out'. I get out and reply with 'why?'. Now, here comes the great logic. He reply's 'firing the gun'? :dunce: Wait....what?

So anyway, I continue playing the objective, while the tank driver (who really wasn't that good, I have no idea how he finished on top of the leaderboard) continues to sit 200+ meters away from the objective taking pot shots at the enemy. Every time he dies, he waits until the tank respawns and repeats.

I was playing a big ticket match on Seine CQ when I deployed at US spawn to try and get the tank. Someone beat me to it, so I had no choice but to run toward A, over the bridge....and what do I see on the minimap.....but the guy who just took the tank has driven into a barricade, has hopped out and is running to A!

Abandoning a tank! At Seine CQ! Srsly!

I just have to say that I had BF3 on console (x360) and with my recent awesome PC build i decided to get BF3 premium for PC... night and day difference between the games!!
It isn't even about the visuals and graphics and better frame rate that is on PC (ultra settings, fully maxed out, looks amazing). The larger maps and 64 player MP gameplay just makes this game feel like an entirely different one. Amazing to say the least!!

Brings me back to the BF2 craze I once had!

So instead of reversing the tank and going over the bridge, he just left it there?

Oh God....:banghead:

Never ever leave a perfectly good vehicle unattended.

Also, never ever leave a vehicle in reach of the enemies, even if it's on fire.

:banghead:

Everyone might not agree with that, but that's how I play. I'm going down with the tank when it blows up if I don't have a way to destroy/repair it.

Same here usually.

I hate when a medic/support/sniper class person runs into the tank and hops out as soon as he takes one hit. Then the enemies take it.
