Exactly. I love the shotgun, but I think if I'm attacking a station while 3 or so enemy are disarming the station, I like to just mow them all down

The demo runs out today doesn't it? Unfortunately. It's sold me for sure though, I had my doubts after the first BC demo and I ended up not buying it, and when I played full version I didn't regret my decision. This time around though I really can't wait, this has become the shooter I have longed for since getting my PS3.

Indeed it does, though I hope DICE extend it for a few more days like they did the beta, im not in the mood for BF tonight :scared:.
I was sold on this game during the beta, I never could get into Bad Company 1 but I still bought it. This on the otherhand I pre-ordered within the first few days of the beta, I got into it straight away too and I think I was pretty good, same with the demo(The complete opposite of BC1). :)

Thats the beauty of BC2, organise yourself well and even players who aren't super shots will do well and get fantastic moments together with their buddies. They feel alot more special then they do on games like MW2 I can't put my finger on why, perhaps it's because battles are on a larger scale, but you feel like when you and your squad destroys an objective that you just made a difference.

I always play in a squad of 3 and we have some really cool moments together and we know we're out there getting it done and having a blast in the process. Infact we're looking for a 4th when the full game comes out, regularly online in keeping with us (so european) and preferably with a headset. 2 of the 3 of us so far are always on headsets with the 3rd usually at least listening in (our medic, he knows what he's doing though and you often don't need to tell him as we're tightly knit together now). Also wanting an engineer/assault kind of guy as we have 1 medic, 1 marksman/assault/team leader (myself, note: not sniper but more general marksman) and 1 engineer already, we're out their on the front lines rather then sniping from the back, there's enough people doing that already. We're hoping to trial whoever is interested to see how they gel and then we want to get on regularly, at least every other day when the game first comes out, and hopefully over the summer to.
 
So mad the demo ran out already! I've been having so much fun.

Some people have had their copies for two days.

IIRC there are 6 maps for rush, 5 for CQ, and 4-6 for deathmatch. (Squad rush is played on the rush maps) I'll try to get more info tonight about if they decreased the points needed to unlock stuff from the beta.
 
Anybody else picking this game up tomorrow? It'd be cool to squad up with a couple of you guys. (If I'm not squadded with my personal friends)

I have to wait until Friday :( I'd complain that the UK gets thing late, but the Aussies are aparently getting it even later.

Does anyone know if Battlefield veterans has done anything with 1943? I need one more veteran rank to get the M1 and I already made a heroes account.


EDIT: Nope it didn't see that I have 1943 so I'm trying to DL some old BF PC demos.

Doesnt it suck to see others playing it in your friends list? :lol: I have to wait til Friday too... but luckily I can put some good time into it since its the weekend.. 👍

PS- How is your squad coming along? You complete yet?
 
360 version.
I was able to rent this last night around 7:00 EST and typical EA.......The multiplayer did not work. I messaged several friends and checked the forums, no one was able to get on. Even after the betas, and demo, they still were not prepared for the full release. Exactly why I quit buying games.

Anyway I started playing the campaign and its ok so far. If I had bought this game and the multiplayer didnt work, I would have went right back for a full refund.
 
Getting the game in a couple of hours... My game shop got it in early and is treating me... :D Official Euro release is Friday.... But I hope the MP works out the box... Thats the whole reason I want this game!! :lol:
 
It's absolutely awesome - got it on PC yesterday and it looks almost as good as Crysis and Uncharted 2; very impressed. Only played the single player so far but it wipes the floor with Modern Warfare 2's single player - now to see if the multiplayer can live up to the single player ^.^

Everyone should get this game.
 
I got my copy yesterday and I am impressed, EA finally got something right (so far). Sorry to the guys "across the pond" that have to wait but it will be well worth it. I plan on finishing the story mode before going online, although I participated in the Beta. I thought it would be wise to get used to the vehicles first. I saw my son play online yesterday and he got the helicopter with a few people, took off, and stuck it in the ground - Squad Done! Feel free to add me if you don't have me in your PSN list. I will most likely buy a second copy so my wife or son can play in the online multiplayer theater with me at the same time. I can honestly say that COD MW2 and this game are different and enjoyable in their own ways. I have said this before: See you on the Battlefield!

The audio is impressive with this game as well, I set the audio in options to "War Tapes" and my surround along with the Buttkicker is phenomenal! Like the original Battlefield the closer you are to the explosions (I.E. explosive barrels, huge gas tanks) the more intense the feel of the Buttkicker. I just wish EA would render in 1080 instead of the Native 720 format as listed on the back of the game package. The graphics are great but a higher rendering/resolution will be really nice.

The game is great so far! Singleplayer is about what i expected but online is smooth as silk. I only wish matchmaking would be more fair to those newcomers to the game. It's not fun being a level 1 and having to match up against level 9 - 13's..All in all awesome game.
 
Hardcore mode is amazing. Welcome back quick scoping I missed you. When you get sniped is when you want kill cam back though.

EDIT: M! is one shot head and two shot torso kill in HC mode also.
