Its a bit long... but all I gotta say is watch the quad... if you think the jet ski went far, you aint seen nothing yet... :p

 
Just got out of class and ami fiending for some more BC2 time :( Supposedley the servers are going to be down today and tomorrow for a certain period of time.... Sucks that i never knew about that "zoom" feature on the UAV. Even then my accuracy with the UAV missle is pretty good. If only i wouldn't get knifed by campers while i'm flying it :P

Playing with the GTP boys was loads of fun, Blitz, tommi and dragon are badasses :)

I'll be assuming the "Good Boyfriend" class for the next few hours so hopefully i'll get the opportunity to play later on tonight :)

Use capital letters for all the letters, I'm not sure if it makes a difference but it worked for me after previously failing.
 
If we get enough GTP'rs we might be able to setup a private match? We never acomplished it on BF 1943 but might be worth trying eventually. The public matches with a few squad's of GTP'rs would be quite interesting as well. It would be great if Masi would get his PS3, he tore it up in the Beta before. What happened to Mr_V I haven't seen him online in quite awhile?
 
It will be reasonably easy for us to get into a match together in a couple of squads. What we'll need to do is set up 1 squad, join a game, then as and when spots open our that squads team one more GTPer joins, then others join on that GTPer from squad invites they send.

To be honest I'm not interested in a private match unless it's a near full one, I don't enjoy small games.
 
I just finished a decent session with Blitz and mr_geez, good work out there guys we didn't even need headsets to do pretty well. I'm sorry if my Blackhawk piloting was dodgy on the jungle rush map, I've not had much chance to fly the things so it was kind of awkward, how was it for you two trying to shoot?

Also, I believe mr_geez is still on if you want to add him.
 
I can't join servers since yesterday morning. Very frustrating. MW2 has had its fair share of problems like glitches and hacked games, BUT at least you could play it all the time.

We had server problems on BFBC1, BF1943 and now again. While I understand that estimating the success of a game is not that easy and that this can lead to server problems in the first days after the release, I nevertheless am dissapointed.

Despite the statement on their official twitter account ( new hardware is online and problems should be solved )I am still not able to join any games. And for the record, I also see two people in my friendslist that also have a hard time getting into games, spending their time in the main menu.

From what I read the best way to get into games is by joining people on your friendslist ( or the player that you recentely played with ).

Too bad that I couldn't join a game for 2 days which kind of kills that possibility.

I demand a quick solution ;-)

Some good games yesterday , unfortunately our team in rush mode was not the best ever and the opposition was tough so we had our share of losses ..
Sorry for some dodgy driving in tanks , at the moment I feel more comfortable in being a gunner (btw is there any way to have anti tank mines sensor? or something like that ?)

Plus another question , do the passive perks like vehicle armor or vechicle warhead also work when you are in gunner position , or only when you are the lead driver ?

@Dragonistic : you were a good pilot , no problems IIRC .. :)

I THINK armour works, there was some mention of things like that working in an interview that you could stack the specialisations up. It's possible that the sensor spec for vehicles, whatever it's called which is supposed to detect nearby enemies will get mines to but I have no idea.
 
I took out 11 Blackhawks in one match today.
 
11? Then it wasn't just us coming up against crazy blackhawk pilots making themselves easy targets! It never ceases to amaze me how insane some pilots are, and it's annoying as hell when you're in the chopper with them. Also, my buddy trolley thought of a really clever thing to do, engineers can repair blackhawks IN THE AIR, if they get into the 'seat' which gives you your normal weapon outside the door, change to repair tool and you can repair the thing on the fly.

I've never played BF 2, haven't played any BF really since Modern Combat 2 on PS2. I'm sure I wasn't the only one who it was new to, blitz was there to :P. It's pretty awesome really.
 
yeah the in copter repair thing works a treat. Had a very small go last night, played the "team deathmatch" mode with 4 of us in the team. maps are really small and it can be very frustrating but in one match we all piled into one house and held it till the end to win outright against the other teams. Did a few "normal games after this but it kept sticking us in right at the end of matches where there was no way to recover the scores to win. anoying....oh yes!
 
So you can play it on PS3 with keyboard and mouse?
 
I've tried it on other games and it was a no go... doubt it for this one as well.

Another successful nights battle. The icing on the cake was the last 2 games on Rush Isla... something the autumn one. mr_geez was with myself and a buddy of mine and the first round on attack I sniped my way to an over 30 streak using the spotting scope so I was marking a tonne of guys on the island, then I swapped to medic after we got that section done. Then on defence I got 2 double kills by taking down choppers with the heavy MG and I knew it was going to be a good round from then on in. I ended up getting over 5,000 more points for my medic by running around like a maniac healing and reviving, the enemy were ALL sniping near enough so I just racked up the points and we never really had any trouble defending at all. Eventually they tried, their final push they crash landed their chopper by me and I managed a double-double kill, 2 with my G3 2 with my revolver. In the end it was my second 20,000 + total score, the first time took 74 kills the other night with Blitz, the second took just 17 kills but by doing what I was there to do as a medic I nearly got as many points.
 
Damn... I'm thinking I'll have the Gustov platinum by Wednesday.

How many levels of gold star is there for each weapon/vehicle type anyway? I thought there would be three but then along came gold star 4 for something.

Your heli piloting was great Drag... I had to get the hang of that mini-gun for sec. because in the beginning I wasnt hitting squat. But once I got going, mr_geez and I were owning from the air thanks to the routes you took over their base... :)

And mr_geez, your tank driving was fine... no way of seeing those mines everytime.. :p I believe it was with you that we took a tank and blew up on the bridge because of those stupid mines... but no worries... that type of stuff happens all the time.. :lol: We had some good matches there and even without mics we did pretty damn good... 👍

Yup, that was a crazy match with you and Trolley when you got 74 kills.. :p And being a medic can give you mad points like you say. Healing and reviving team mates gives you so many points in the end... Now I just need to play more assault and recon... pretty much opened everything for Engineer and Medic already.. :lol:

I think the CE version has 6 unlocks from the start that you can use... not 100% sure though...

The sound is incredible. I'm level 8 right now.

Do you think no prone is good??
Ur opinion on hold crouch, toggle zoom??

Me: assault, m416 (for now), kind of rush the enemy with tactic advancement

Love no prone option, keyboard layout doesn't bother me (can probably be changed in the config.ini)
