Never even knew that was possible. Not really sure how viable a tactic that would be considering the time it takes to die when out of bounds. Even then the enemy could still be killing off your team-mates during the ticket "refreshing" tactic, but still interesting.

An interesting tactic i've seen recently was the parking of the blackhawk on a cliff and picking off people trying to get into the Mcomm stations. It's possible on Valparaiso (attacking) on the first and second set of stations, Port Valdez at the very last set of Mcomm's (defending: parking the chopper a few meters east of the helipad). It could be done in Isla de inocentes but i haven't seen an area claer enough to land the chopper. It works just for the shear unexpectedness of it although once someone get's wise it's over, after all how insonspicuous can a large chopper parked on a mountainside be? :)

Seems like it would be an easier target to blow up if it was stationary on the hillside?
 
I got the trophy for a headshot with the Engy repair tool :D Rush on Isla Inocentes, on defence; one of the attackers takes the mounted MG by the jetty on the defenders' side, I run around the back of him and get an easy repair tool headshot :D

Also had a pretty cool chopper kill with the RPG, I fired ahead of the chopper by quite some distance and the RPG hit the tail of the chopper as it flew past, blowing it up :D

I was thinking about attackers tactic. You see, the first on leaderboard has 1000:20 ratio of win/loss in attackers mode. How is that possible.

Havent played for a few days now... but this is how I stand at the moment :) Almost got my KDR to 1.00 .... FINALLY... its taking a long time :p

With the new PC patch out now choppers are flying death traps. Its now very easy to put a dart on it and 5 seconds later the rockets fly. So much for air help.:rolleyes: Knifing is rubbish now too..👎
 
It's not to hard dodge missiles even in the Blackhawk, on ps3 at least I've had a tracer on me and managed to keep going though you can't do much shooting.
 
For PC if your Chopper gets missile lock, its time to bail. Especially with a dart on the chopper. My son liked to fly them and I would use the guns. We could stay up indefinitely with some repair. Now you can just make it to the M coms before the chopper is shot down. Good luck dodging a missile in PC. Joysticks are worthless unlike in Desert combat where the joystick worked great.
 
Generally the best plan is to go forward or backwards as hard as possible, sideways movement is much slower, though a combination of both isn't to bad. Also going back or forward hard (giggedy) makes you dive towards the ground which tends to help as well.

lol, it's nearly impossible to camp in BC2. If you think people in BC2 camp you should play MW2. :lol:

Well I've played MW2 just long enough to not like it, but for never really playing FPS I think people camp too hard in Hardcore mode. And Hardcore Conquest or SDM? Forget about actually trying to play a decent match
 
First time ever me and fairplay have met level 50 players,on opposing team I might add. Results? 2 rounds won , 1 lost , 1 golden dog tag shines in my collection now :)
 
It must be (has to be) my skill level but I'm only in matches with level 20 and up. Mostly level 30s but a few 40s and occasionally a 50. No gold dog tags but Ive got many silvers, some multiple. It's an entirely different game once you hit level 15 and up. Really extreme change.
 
Has anyone else found it impossible to add games for their Veteran rank? I own both BC2 and BF2MC (PS2), yet I can't add BF2MC to my Veteran list. I also created a soldier in Battlefield Heroes yet I can't add that to my Veteran list either. :irked:

I had trouble too actually seeing if I qualified (only having BF1943) so I tried it again about a week ago on Battlefield.com/My Soldier/Veteran and did it there and it worked right away (had to restart my game) and I was able to use my M1. Although the stats are broke

Yeah when I found out there was gold I had to get some. It seems like the golds are a lot harder to get, because obviously the player is better. But it seems like I was just giving mine out tonight I was doing so bad :/
 
I do believe I made some K/D ratio's go down for a great many people this afternoon. Sureshot and I were racking them up this afternoon in conquest. I also got a great deal of tags today also, unfortunately I am still on the hunt for a set of gold ones.
 
This game is full of great moments. I wish it had a cinema mode AKA uncharted 2.

Yeah, some very good games, apart from the ones I was trying to play with the Neostad. Quite laggy for me though.

I loved the game at Arica Harbor, I was inside the building by the crossroads (with you I think) and was trying to C4 the tank, unfortunately as I was throwing it through the window, it stuck to the window. As the tank shot me, he blew up the C4 and blew himself up :D \o/

KD is back up to about 1.06.

I was experiencing the lag as well, but I think it was for once on my side?:dopey: I was in the house (2nd floor) across from "A" and three guys kept spawning together on the roof of the 1st building at the construction site behind the wood piling. I was assualt using the M416 I just kept picking them off and using the 40mm grenades, and hand grenades. That round I got 30 kills and 4 deaths. The whole aftenoon I was no less that 20 kills or more than 10 deaths in each conquest round.:sly:

Is it just me or are people with level30 upwards much harder to kill..?..I feel like the past 2weeks I have been going backwards on this game and my k/d tells me its true,at the moment I am at level 24 and its been a nightmare getting there from about level 20.If I go into games with my team mate mr_geez who is at level 34 I think,I just get beat up, mostly from guys who just come from nowhere behind me and snipers.

I have seen that also were people over level 30 seem to be a bit harder to kill, on the other hand I am over 30 and seem to get my a$$ killed pretty easily?:dunce: I did go away from the Magnum ammo and selected the efficiency upgrade (the gun with a plus) and it seems to help me more than the Mag ammo.

At one point I thought after a certain level it was harder for me to kill people, and easier to die, while I was still the same. So everyone had gotten better, or I had gotten worse. But now I'm doing a lot better and back to kills nubs in no time.

If you think leveling from 20-24 was hard, wait till you hit 26 hahahahah. From 26-43 idk how long it has taken, but I tend to level up every other day or so

An interesting little tidbit is that i have seen expereinced the same issue. Sometimes it would seem like some players took more shots than others but i'm sure that it's not some magic lvl 30 bonus health but rather connectivity issues. As soon as we jump into a round we can't see how good or bad the connections status is and this contributes to some strange issues while playing (like seemingly shooting an enemy yet not killing them). I've played rounds were i've shot almost an entire clip of the G3 from about 10 meters only to have the guy turn around and kill me. I always judge after my first kill, if it takes more than 4 shots to kill a guy then it's time for me to go. I'm not going to be cannon fodder for some dude who's probably half way across the globe..I wish there were a connection strength meter like COD. This would help alot.

Just thought i'd pay a tribute to the most celebrated gun in WWII :) and IMO, the most beautiful.
Wouldn't it suck getting killed by an M1 when you're using an M16/XM8?

If was i was deployed in Iraq, i wouldn't mind having this as my main AR.
