Been waiting for an online game to load for 15 minutes and not a button on my controller will do anything. I can't even quit the game and start over haha.

Happened to me once last night, Masi and I waited for a bit and it ended up in a match alone. It shouldn't happen alot.

Yeah I played for an hour and am still level 1. Frustrating to say the least. My only huge irk is the awful killcam it doesn't help.

At least it has a kill am unlike Medal of Honor.

You just have to score more points. The more you play, the better you will be able to utilize the maps and know where people are based on where you were killed (a long with the kill cam)

I hated this game at first but I liked it a lot after a while. It takes some getting used to.

If you just started playing it its a crap game. Once you get the hang of it its so awesome :) Can't wait to get PSNstore back up so I can buy Vietnam.

Any1 who wants to play u can add me ;) I want people to give med packs to :P

I was getting bored of Bad Company 2, but once I got ahold of Vietnam it re-ignited my love for the game. Personally, I think Vietnam is much better than the regular BC2 and I've had more than enough playtime to easily justify the cost of the DLC. I'm sure you'll enjoy it when you get it as well.

Has anyone had a problem with online stats not carrying over? Cause I've been playing all morning and its saying I'm leveling up but when I go to put on my defibrillator, it says I haven't earned a single XP point.

Have you been able to use things you've unlocked? If so I wouldn't worry about it.

I think so, I can't tell what much of this stuff is for.

Not right now, I'm watching denver/hopkins. Gotta get my lax intake for the weekend now that my seasons over. And I don't have a mic either hahaha so I may have to improvise on the teamwork part.

I just picked up this game. It's great. I switch back to Black Ops sometimes and do much better applying what I do in BC2. The maps are huge with an almost infinite amount of places to hide. The lack of maps though is making the game old. PS Store needs to go back up so I can download the extra maps. I bought the VIP edition so I can download them for free. :)

Different game types have different maps. Like Conquest has a few maps that Rush doesn't.

I know it doesn't really belong in this thread, but did anyone end up getting Medal of Honor?

I don't think it is worth your money. Not very successful mix of MW2 with BC2.

My biggest problem when I tried it, was absolutely no recoil in guns and sniper fest all over the game.

Nothing beats good old BC2 Vanilla Rush @Arica Harbor :dopey:

Cale don't waste your money on Medal of Honor, they fixed nothing from the Beta. I played it for about 8hrs after I bought it and that was it. The campaign was cool but finished it in about 6hrs. The online was horrible along with its very small maps. I would rent it if your curious but I wouldn't waste my time with it. I will add your new PSN.

Rossticles you will enjoy the other maps once you get them from the store, I was not of fan of the onslaught mode so save yourself the $10. Vietnam is good play and worth the $15. I recommend trying out Conquest on the maps along with Rush, Team Deathmatch, etc.

I agree with Mr.Geez on Arica Harbor, still one of my favorite maps in either conquest or rush. In fact the last time I played rush was with Mr. Geez! Nelson Bay Conquest has become a favorite of mine also, I was on the back ridge above Flag "A" last night just racking it up!

PS - Psycho_Sally, ajwilli1, and myself should be online tonight playing BF2 if anyone wants to join in. Maybe we could get a good conquest or rush going. I miss having 10 or so GTP'rs in a match on the same side...or other. Good fun! See y'all on the Battlefield!!!

I maxed out the marksman head shot today on accident. I only snipe with th 4x scope and I missed somebody who was fairly close, and in the process of "Shi... WTF W00t" saw I killed someone too far away for me to see.

My current record is a 578 point kill. Just beyond visual range.

Can anyone beat that? :sly:

I was close, but this was with a 4X scope on accident. lol

I don't remember the highest points I've got but the max marksman is 500, so you could get 700 points or so off of one kill if the stars aligned haha

Does that include a triple kill?

:D

Could someone be so kind to explain the online battles to me. I got the game last week and finished the single player campaign (highly enjoyable) and then tried an online session (Rush I think - had to blow up comm stations).

Only, I had no clue and couldnt figure out what was going on - there are players running around with blue triangles and some with yellow and my random team mates right? So, who am I trying to shoot - I tried to shoot some blue guys but nothing happened. All I know is, I got killed after only a few moments in the battle zone (sniper, knifed etc).

Any tips would be welcome as you seem to know what you are doing :P

Yellow guys are those within your squad, blue is the rest of your team.

The bad guys won't have anything on them (maybe a orange dot if they're spotted) and you can generally tell the difference in clothing based on what team you are. If you are American, they are Russian. You can tell by which vehicles are available to you in your various bases

Rush: run to M-com and press circle (ps3) if attacking (red boxes above mcom) with out being killed, similar to demolition or sabotage in CoD, if the boxes are blue defend the mcom by killing people trying to arm.

Do not shoot guys with blue triangles, they are your teammates, green triangles are squadmates whom you can communicate with via headset

Shoot guys with no indication over them or a red indication

Im fairly sure all of this can be found on google

Thanks - I got the medic/ sniper etc breakdown via google, but I was just missing the basics about squad versus team and how everybody is basically competing for the same thing (but being on the same team).

There's technically no difference besides being able to only talk to your team, and getting a few extra points for squad related things like heals and spots etc. It's just a team within a team, if no one in your squad has a mic then there really isn't much difference between your squad and the rest of your team

The objective is to either blow up or defend mcoms, by arming/disarming them in rush, kill any enemies, particularly the ones around the mcom

Conquest is basically capture the flag or domination if u play a lot of cod

OK guys, I just got back home with BC2. Who wants to play with me?
