Yup Blitz , some good rounds yesterday :)

It was crazy on Operation Hastings Rush when I spawned on you just as you were about to die near the bomb site and took out 6 people with one long burst of my RPK then revived you and we took care of the incoming enemies who wanted to defuse the bomb. Good stuff.

Yup, fun fun fun!! :) I need to learn the maps though... This was the very first time I played any of the maps in Vietnam. I think the first round we did was also a bloodbath when we were owning in that tank... Like shooting fish in a barrel :lol:

We played with Mr_Geez the other night and had a great time or at least until everyone literally started dying out and quitting the game. Operation Hastings is an awesome map, not to mention it's size. My favorite is Vantage Point, smallest of the maps but whoever owns "B" owns the map! Hill 137 "Hamburger Hill" is another favorite and truly a snipers haven. After a bit of grinding on GT5, nothing like taking out a few noobs with a flame thrower! 👍

Blitz, Check out Map Pack 7 the new maps are awesome. Oasis is fun and is like Arica Harbor just smaller and finding trouble doen't take long at all. Harvest is a relatively large map and one of my favorites out of them all. Heavy Metal is the largest of all the maps and was from the campaign, it's brutal with all the heli's in the air.

Yup it was nice and refreshing to step out on the battlefield again. Had a blast! And it got me going again, so I think I'll be switching off regularly now between the two games. I'll give those new maps a try over the weekend... Sounds good! 👍 I've heard a lot about Heavy Metal from my roommate who plays on the PC... Hopefully I can join you again for some matches over the weekend.

I got this game over christmas, enjoyed it more than Modern Warfare 2, especially the single player and its definitely up there with some of my favourite shooters. Still not found anything i enjoy more than Crysis though.

This game is great when you have a good squad, it makes teamplay great! When BBC2 first came out we would have sometimes up to 8 or 9 GTPr's on one side and it was awesome fun. And then some other GTP'rs would join and end up on the other side which proved also to be great fun. I like the fact when you knife someone in BBC2 you get your opponents Dog Tags: Bronze, Silver, or Gold depending on rank. My son has a set of mine in both Silver and Gold:dunce:.

Hopefully the game will hold up across oceans and we can game together for once :lol:. I have played with people from the US with seemingly no problem at all, so theoretically if you host my uni connection will hold up ok. I should be able to update come Saturday and I'll have my new headset to for added goodness.
 
I want to get on within the next few days but I've been acting crazy with all my trading schedules on GT5 :/
 
i just dl'ed vietnam. didn't play too much yet but i like it from the only level i played in rush. GT5 has taken up my time so time to spread it out a lil
 
We (Psycho_Sally, ajwilli1, jswilli1) will be on tonight around 8pm MST (-7 hrs GMT) if anyone wants to join us, most likely Vietnam. I think we will try Rush since most of the time we play conquest. I had some great matches playing Hardcore Rush in Vietnam with Tomleechan and Cale this week. Hill 137 is a fun map in Rush since you don't get to see the other part of the map while playing Conquest. See ya'll on the Battlefield 👍
 
I picked this game back up again recently... Now I can remember why I always told everyone it was 1000x better than Modern Warfare 2.

I love Heavy Metal, that's a cool map. Make sure you're in a 4 man squad though, because it's a very large map.
 
I've never had a good match on heavy metal. Oasis, Harvest Day, and Arica are my favorite maps. I would also like to see Deconstruction and Valley Run from BC1. I also hope my neighbor can fix my PS3 so I can play again.
 
I've had a few fun games on Heavy Metal, but nothing that great. I'd like to see Par For The Course, even though I never really played BC1

LOL god damn that is insane man. I thought I was harsh with my 3100 or so.
 
Just checked, I'm up to 4930. once you get to lvl 50 you're allowed to muder all the wookie scrotes.
 
Has anyone been experiencing game breaking lag of late? Get's frustrating when you can't even run forward or kill anyone.
 
I thought it was just me yesterday. I haven't played today yet but I imagine after the release of KZ3 they nerfed some more servers
 
It's a pain in the @ss as it's been happening on a daily basis now. Not always to me, but there always seems to at least 1 member of the squad lagging. EA/DICE won't fix it though, if you speak to EA live chat they basically say it's your connection. lulz
 
I got to play again at my friend's house last night. What a blast! No lag. I was taking down choppers like a baoss with my M21 and dominated 4 times on Arica Harbor with 70+ kills using the M14.
 
I need to get me some Vietnam. I played it at my friend's house, and I love it.

This game is now a year old, and at the moment I'm loving it as much as when I 1st bought it on release day.
Had a day off work to play it and everything.
 
Is anyone still online issues with this? Can't find matches, stats not properly loading etc... Been going on for 2 months for me..I switched to Black Ops..but its getting pretty tired.
 
I can always find matches, stats mess up sometimes (after playing Vietnam all my kits reset) but everything is restored rather quickly.

The only problem is finding a competent team
 
Now that Battlefield 3 12min video has been released, that game looks freaking awesome.

I have still been playing BBC2 in between rounds of GT5 and there are still great matches. happycorey has joined a few of the matches over the past weeks. Both Vietnam and Multiplayer (modern) still have very aggressive matches. Arica Harbor still tends to be a fast paced brutal match. I still enjoy all the maps within BBC2 and probably should go play some Rush maps since I have not done Rush in months.

Curious though if EA will be doing closed Beta testing on Battlefield 3. I have not seen or heard anything yet. I did get invites to all the previous Battlefield titles with the Battlefield play 4 free being the last. Seeing that this is only PC based I am hoping to see something from Battlefiled 3 soon? While I was chosen for the closed Battlefield Play 4 Free Beta, they sent me numerous codes to send to friends. If I get any extra codes I will be sure to PM them to you guys. I know if you purchased MOH that you would get an invite to the BF3 Beta, but it doesnt say if it was the open or closed beta. See Y'all on the Battlefield!:cheers:
