I played Vietnam for about an hour so far. Lost every game. Not even sure how we lost the first one as I thought we were winning the whole game. Oh well its still pretty fun.

At least I only paid $3 for the game after all my trade ins. Can't beat that.

I'm having trouble accessing the store though. Is that just me? I can't get it to open so I can download any maps.

Did you try the PSN store as well?
 
Yeah PSN store is fine. Thats how I got the Vietnam pack. The in game store however only opened once for me otherwise it just sits there loading.

Are you trying to enter the VIP code? Maybe try it in the PSN store.

I have Vietnam as well, but the only mode I enjoy is Rush. Not a big fan of conquest.

I will play whatever. I'm really only good with the recon kit but I'm trying to use the other kits more.
 
I think I'm starting to figure this game out again. I used to be pretty good at battlefield. The first online FPS I ever played was BF2 Modern Combat on the PS2. Hopefully soon I'll have some half decent guns unlocked for more than just the recon class. I am really liking to use the SVU with a 4x optic. I almost don't want to use any other class since everything else is still default or almost so.

More than that, my biggest issue is learning all these big maps again. I've played on a few of them before, but more of them are new to me and I'm getting shot from every direction. By the way, whats with the game always saying we lost even when we were winning a game? Am I missing something? Lastly, I figured out part of my issue with the store. Silly me didn't realize everything had been automatically downloaded before I even started playing. Haha.

It's a known bug, and I'm still amazed that DICE hasn't fixed it yet. :lol:

I think it works correctly on PC though, so go figure.

If you hear music during the final scene, most of the time that means your team won.
 
Or you can check the pins at the end, if it matters that much lol.

Never thought of that. I just heard some guy on his mic say that the music meant you won and went by that.
 
Corey the matches didn't really get any better, except for when Time Attack was the squad leader. Then it was ok, well maybe it was the HK416... the AUG is so much better.
 
Yeah I saw the pins and was a bit confused as to how I got a pin for winning a game when it said I lost. Its not a big deal now that I know it is a bug.

I'm willing to be the party leader for games more often if it helps us find betting games.

They say he's a fake. A ploy by EA to drum up hype and publicity for BF3. I fell for it.
 
^ Ah that would explain it... I found it a stange vid in the first place.
 
Considering his K/D is .62 and he's played 700 hours I'd say it's real.

It takes a long time to level up in this game. Medic can give you the most points if your reviving and healing all the time.
 
I hate medics. Running around with an LMG that does sniper rifle damage with a fully auto rate of fire and a 100 round drum mag and they just happen to have the ability to heal themselves and their team.
