There in the wheel of the day... just keep looking. And they're not spinners (thank god although those have to be one of the worst rims imo) :rolleyes:
 
sUn those wheels appear on SET 2 of the wheel cycle

heres how to figure out when to get it:

equation:

P = number of day passed
S = Set number in wheel database

C = (P-1) / 32 then take out all the numbers behind the decimal
S = (P-1) - (32xC)

e.g.
You are at Day 288, then
C = (288 - 1) / 32 = 8.96875 then C = 8
S = (288 - 1) - (32 x 8) = 31
on Day 288, you will get set 31 at wheel of the day
 
We have determined in the other thread that these calculations do NOT work for the American version.

Well in those shots, the 3D wheels are in the proper photomode, whereas the 2D ones are when you've done some driving - maybe that's it?

yes that's it. i didn't bother to read the whole thread so maybe someone said this. i think it's pretty obviouse. the ps2 can only process so many polygons at a time, especially at high speeds.

for the full races they use 2d wheels to keep the polygons down and the game running smoothly. they prolly figured when ur racing ur wheels are gonna be a spinning blur as it is so why slow down the frame rate for them? in the photomode it's just one car at a time and nothing's moving, so they can use more polygons.

this is like why the nike car can not participate in races with 5 other cars. the nike car has over 3 times as many polygons as a typical car because of all it's curves they wanted to make nice.

I personally dont even like them. You need to relax.
 
There are soooo many other different/better rims they could have revamped the entire wheel area with it's sooooo sad...
 
These are my favorite so far on this black BMW. :)

I thought that they were Blitz Type 03, but looking closer, they are not exactly the same.

I was thinking to put Cebera to PMC week 3, and the eclipse became my entry instead
