argh, we need a Renault 1-2:D!
This should be Alonso's, i garuntee Raikkonen will push the Mclaren too hard and retire.

You forgot the rain master Micheal. Whenever it rains he always comes out on top!
Not always. He was the rain master. I know, long time ago, but MS is there too. Far behind somewhere.... :D

Good for Pizzonia being able to race again, I hope he does good. I thought Heidfeld problem last weekend was just a bad headache, how come he´s still ill?

Its a conspiracy like Montoya's shoulder injury due to playing 'tennis' Heidfeld has acctually ran away and defected to A1.

All that in a car that was a solid second per lap slower than a Williams. I have never been a giant fan of Senna...but things like that pass on the outside in the wet make me respect him a ton. Great clip!

If they waited until friday to determine whether or not Nick was healthy to race, and he turned out not to be, they would lose Pizzonia's great qualifying spot. So they decided to take advantage of that slot while they had the chance and elected Pizzonia to race this weekend.

By the look of things, the Renaults are in a dry settup, McLaren, Ferrari and most others are in a wet settup.

Oh I hope it rains tomorrow. :D

I hope it rains too :p

Also Montoya was .7 up @ T1 then only .1 @ T2. so he was on a smoker.

Was it me or did the commentators make a few mistakes today?

Seems an odd thing to say as the Rebaults were slow than the Mclarens. 0_o

Look like a good grid, but the highlight was the A1GP advert from sky during a break :D

Comeon you rain.

The Renaults have low downforce, they're very fast on the straights, not so through the corners. If it is wet they'll be screwed.

And Renault is always slower than McLaren :p

Blake

I dont understand why renault didnt play it safe or do they think that alonso has the drivers title in the back and are now chasing after the cunstructors title?

I don't think Renault played it safe, I think that was the best they could do. I bet Fisi is light on fuel and Alonso's lap wasn't anything special.

On pure speed the McLaren is lightyears ahead of the Renault, maybe as much as .5-a full second per lap faster. Only problem is it goes boom often...

If it is wet tomorrow I think both the renaults and McLaren's are screwed, especially Kimi and Alonso. The Toyotas and Ferraris look strong for the wet....

Apparently it is meant to rain in the afternoon, they're just not sure when. But they're positive that it will rain now. It rained for the GP2 race so hopefully it will do the same for the formula one race....

Cool, thanks. I really like to see some rain there today.

Just heard the ITV weather report and there is still a risk of heavy showers for the race, drivers will not be happy what so ever..

Oh.

They have shown the 1998 start twice now where they crash  Also the BAR crashes in 1999.

Yeah the track is pretty damn scarey in the wet, the BAR in 99 was massive crashes.
